aluinie: Think square is desperate for cash they are trying to sell everything they have.
That's what I meant actually, they put the entire Tomb Raider and Legacy of Kain (well minus Blood Omen) series' up there too
lol

tfishell: You're right, but it came on the heels of the "Omikron" and "Wizardry" threads, so I was hoping this wouldn't become a thing.

Crosmando: Fair enough, I get what you're saying.
I will say this, though! If they're really desperate for money, maybe they'll finally wipe out the regional restrictions and other issues and allow GOG to bring Final Fantasy 7. :-P

We did hear TET and another person were flying out to London, which somebody suggested involved Square Enix, so maybe they're close to reaching a distro deal for that game, or something else good. I'd prefer the grand finale turn out to be a new publisher, but Final Fantasy 7 would be darn amazing, too.

Final Fantasy monies ran out long ago. They are propping THAT with the Eidos properties.
That's um... Very nice of them? Shadow Warrior has been released on GameFly.
Yeah i'll say it again. Daikatana is not as bad as people who didn't play it say it is. It's decent and you will enjoy it if you like oldschool shooters.

One thing i am not sure of though: in the description they say: 2 highly trained sidekicks!! Not sure if they are joking, lying or trolling :D
So what?

i find it odd they didnt do it before. after all they make their money by selling games, so ofcourse they should be selling every single title they can no matter how bad the reviews. especially after they reach the nostalgia age. Anyways, i am not paying 6€ for Daikatana ;)

To be honest it is worth 6€ but you can probably wait 2 or 3 months for the chrismas deals were it will be less then half that price.
Daikatana sells nowadays purely on the grounds that it's notoriously bad. All a bad game needs is some phony pseudo-celebrity like Jontron to "review" it, and suddenly everyone has to get it to see how bad it is for themselves, or to simply have hipster "no really guys, I know what bad games are" cred.

That .gif. I cracked the F up.

keeveek: Daikatana past world 1 is pretty decent, actually. It's not even half as bad as they said it was.
I think the problem with Daikatana is not the game itself, but the huge hype over it. It might not have been a bad game, but it certainly failed to meet the expectations everyone had on it.

KneeTheCap: I do believe this general forum is supposed to be about games and gaming in general. There are threads about gamersgate, desura and whatnot, why wouldn't it be okay to make threads about steam games?
But i really don't think it's necessary to have a thread about every GOG game released on Steam.

Yeah, how desperate of them to distribute a game you don't like!
