ps4 exclusive ?
cool

i wont buy it off course i dont have a ps4 but still cool
Seems like they will give no bone to Microsoft.
Sounds like retaliation for MS trying to bribe half the industry for exclusives.
This sucks. Even though I haven't owned an Xbox console since the original, I'm surprised there hasn't been a huge uproar with the internet exploding yet. It's funny how people went insane when Microsoft tried something similar to this with Tomb Raider, but Sony gets a free pass for doing nearly the same thing by most of the gaming community.

I still remember when Hello Games got flooded and Microsoft actually helped the studio. Everyone was claiming that No Man's Sky would be Xbox Exclusive, but now all gamer's seemed to have forgotten that. It's also a PS4 timed exclusive. Although I don't really like the policies Microsoft attempted to push with the Xbox One, most gamers really need to judge both companies with the same standards. We should be against the exclusivity of multiplatform games as a whole.

Whatever though. I'm just one opinion in the gaming community. I also like Tekken over Street Fighter so this doesn't affect me much.
We're up to Street Fighter Five?

Last I noted, Capcom was still spitting out Street Fighter II variants.

Street Fighter 3 (and its variants) started on 1997, SF4 appeared in 2008.

I drifted through a decade or so with little connection to the gaming world. Thanks for indulging me.

InaneKorruption: but Sony gets a free pass for doing nearly the same thing by most of the gaming community.
Starting something and retaliation with it are sorta different, but not by much. I know Rich at ReviewTechUSA talked about this, and said he's tired of seeing Half Assed Exclusives. Exclusives that are timed or only exclude one rival platform seems stupid... Alright two if you include excluding the Wii-U (but i don't think they would have been considered in the first place). I can't say i approve of what Sony is doing, but there's still residual anger from what M$ tried to do with the always-online DRM, which is going to carry on with M$ until the next console generation in about 2-3 years.

I just hope everything gets sorted out soon, i'm disappointed in the 8th gen and i don't even have one of those systems, but seeing and hearing the debates and the resolutions and the attempted HD target, and the lack of power... Is underwhelming. If it was good enough i should feel blown away, but so far i'm far happier with my first time Gaming rig than i would be with having 3 consoles...

I can't say Sony has a free pass, but i can't recall them doing this regularly, so as a collective whole we'd give them the figurative slap on the wrist and say 'don't do it again' type of thing. If they do it multiple times, expect a s**t storm... or fanboys... one or the other.
Looks alright, I'd be a lot more interested if they went back to 2D sprites.

Lol, 2-3 years. Right.

Fat chance.
You could try KOF13, though. That takes 3d models then rotoscoped into 2d sprites. The opposite of what SF4 and 5 2, which is take the sprite's behavior and make 3d models that work like those.

Because that's what they did in SF4, they made them so they snap like the 2d sprites from SF2 and 3, the characters move VERY VERY differently from how they did on SFEX.

There's always Guilty Gear and BlazBlue if you want those.

Lol, did you just make a typo and replaced the word "do" with the number 2 because they sound alike? Or is that just some kind of slang I'm not aware of?

The new Guilty Gear is 3d models.

They look like sprites at times but they are 3d models.

Brainfart, it was due to the sound and I just did not realize. I blame the antibiotics and analgesics I am taking right now, haha.

They only use those 3D models during the intros, special sequences where the camera circles around them and stuff. Otherwise it's 2D sprites. I'm 99% sure of that.

Edit: Took another look, I'm completely sure.
