I tried it. It was good. Seems though that my PC is a little too crappy for it. Some areas, well in tutorial level anyway has some lag. Also trying to move a body is a bit badly made. But perhaps I should try some real levels to see how those work and are. So if I wouldn't have some slowdown issues it would be awesome free game. =P

It sure as hell doesn't look like Doom 3 at all which is always good.

If you haven't found out about it already, you can carry a body by pressing the "Interact" button, then pressing the "Use Inv Item" button ;)

Really? I don't have to drag them like in oblivion/skyrim-style? =P
Nope. You can also use that same set of procedures to snuff out candles and eat food.

StingingVelvet: I'll wait for an update or two before diving in, but really exciting. Was waiting for this.
Qustion, does this Dark Mod take place in the Thief world? any continuity at all? does it have a story?

No, sort of, depends on the mission.

The mod doesn't have an inherent campaign, rather it's a framework for people to build missions on. IIRC, the website provides some details of a 'default' world that anyone can use, but individual map makers are under no obligation to do so, and are free to make up their own settings (as long as they don't use any copyrighted elements, including those of the Thief series)

So while there are probably quite a few missions that share a setting, they may contradict each other's continuity. Some missions are linked in campaigns with ongoing plots, but there's no single overarching narrative that binds all of them. And some are set in entirely separate worlds with no links to others at all.
