This is a prime example of what the concept of DLC should not be used for. It's bad enough when you need to hand over 15 smackaronies to get a bunch of copy-pasted maps for MW2, but even that pales in comparison to paying a full $1.99 for a ... gun. Or maybe it's three guns, I don't care.
And wasn't there another JC2 pack that only included one car, for the same price?
Square Enix should be fucking ashamed.
As long as people are prepared to pay for them, such packs will continue being spewed out.
You know what's a travesty? The 24 finale and having to wait two years for a film version.
That's why i pirate DLC.
Touch Pets users were forced to buy virtual food or their virtual puppies would die.

FWIW, the DLC with the car was free.
Game is awesome and they are not charging so much for the DLC's like the other companies. So I am good with it.
In fairness, OP, £1.99 for big guns is much cheaper than a penis enlargement operation... :)
And yet we still have Valve haters around here.
The TF2 updates have at least doubled its original retail value with all the extra content.

I stopped playing TF2 after some of the content updates, because I personally found that they were pure shit. Still, that's only my personal opinion, so you're making a fair point. But it's not their games people dislike here (for the most part), but their delivery system. I personally don't mind it, but I won't buy anything full price that requires Steam.
I don't play JC2, but if they already put more than enough firearms (and vehicles) to have fun with in the game, I don't see what's wrong with charging extras for unneeded, unessential firearms.
An interesting article on DLC

I really don't mind small DLC like this, as long as it doesn't become a requirement to play. I happily shelled out $2 for each of the Killing Floor character model packs. It's not much to ask for for a bit of extra variety. Then again, I bought Killing Floor during the Steam Christmas sale, so it's not like the game itself cost me a lot.
Death to the DLCs and all of its allies, I'd say....
2 bucks for 3 guns still beats the 5 maps for 15 bucks...
remember horse armour? it was the same deal.
wait for dlc pack then buy it...
