To heck with the new ones, I'd be happy just getting the older ones here... the original Medieval Total War was in my opinion the best one anyway. But Medieval 2 or the original Rome/Shogun... all great games, arguably better in some ways.
I kind of have all the really interesting ones, but I'd still probably like it if the rest were here too. Having that been said, ain't never gonna happen, mate.
SEGA is paranoid as hell. They're very DMCA happy on youtube, and I wouldn't be surprised to hear them saying it'll encourage piracy to go DRM-free. Don't forget you're speaking of a publisher that still sells DLC for games made in 2006 and still makes DLC for R2 even though it isn't fixed for everyone. But yes, I'd like to see the TW games on GOG. I play R2 myself, but the thought of getting the old ones on Steam is awful. If there's one thing worse than DRM in games, its DRM in games where there wasn't meant to be DRM.

MarioFanaticXV: I'm willing to bet they didn't bother with approaching Nintendo.

yyahoo: How many PC games has Nintendo published? Certainly not enough to justify calling them a major publisher...

They don't make DLC for 2066 games, but still sell them. Kinda weird since most games from that time are now available with all content if they even had DLC in the first place.
Its just a theory but the megadrive games are already past their life-cycle on their intended platforms and anything they get from it now is more of a bonus to them than something that they sorely need. Yes, there is no excuse for not bringing them here. Maybe they want all the money and don't want anyone to take a cut for selling it?

that is possible but sega still sells them on the nintendo e shop ( 20 years ago that was unthinkable but i digress ) they were sold on the ps 3 and the xbox 360
and they are on steam adn dot emu so there si no logical reason for thos egames not to be here on gog unless as you say gog and sega just cant work out a deal

course id also love to see sega's pc ports or just plain model 2 ports or saturn ports but i doubt that will happen

the megadrive has been dead for about 16 years now and sega is still cashing i on their 16 bit titles its time they start flogging their saturn library and their mid 90's arcade library

that stuff is pure gold
