Well, I didn't mention GOG.com games, but feel free to list those as well if you like. I guess I did leave the question a bit too general.

I know this is an old thread, now, and don't normally resurrect them, but I was looking back on the games I was tracking then, and thought it would be interesting to post how things turned out with some of those titles:
Aliens RPG - was Cancelled
Batman: Arkham Asylum - got it on console to avoid DRM
Collapse: Devastated World - never released in UK :(
Cryostasis: Sleep Of Reason - avoided it due to DRM
Dark Void - got a lot of average reviews/feedback, so haven't picked it up
Dead Island - is still stuck in development hell
FEAR 2: Project Origin - got it on console to avoid SecuROM
Ghostbusters: The Video Game - tried the demo and lost interest in it
Operation Flashpoint 2: Dragon Rising - avoided due to short SP campaign and DRM
The Precursors - not released in UK
Velvet Assassin - avoided on PC due to SecuROM, still debating whether to get it on console
Warhound - probably cancelled
Wolfenstein - got it on console to avoid SecuROM
Funny how things turn out from what you expected. The other games from my old list haven't been released yet, so I'm still tracking them. And I've added these...

Did anyone else have some disappointments with the games that were released, or switch platforms to avoid DRM?

I want these two games, too.
That company will first release a game called Nail'd, then after it they'll release Dead Island. Warhound is ON HOLD, I guess.
Never heard of Alice(EDIT: forgot that Alice was rumoured) and Wheel, I'll look for them.
What I'm really disappointed is about DRM and games which are released exclusively for consoles, like Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption.
And I'm having a bad feeling about Rage and Crysis 2 about them being consolized, more for Rage than for Crysis 2. :/
