SirPrimalform: Did you not look at the link? :P

Yes I know the game you're talking about, I even referred to it. I'm just saying, Duels of the Planeswalkers properly refers to the gold edition of the game you don't like.

If you basically said "I didn't like Shandalar, I much preferred DotP". Without specifying it looks like you're talking about the 1997 game vs the 1998 game.
EDIT:
I looked at the link yesterday before you posted it. It's a matter of context and I'm not sure why you would assume that I would buy the gold version of a game that I both loathed and despised. It's a matter of context and I'm not quite sure how it wasn't obvious by now that I was referring to the much more well known versions from 2010, 2012 and apparently now 2013. Specifically from 2010 FWIW.

hedwards: EDIT: I get the distinct feeling that we're talking about different games. Because we were never talking about the Micropose gold edition until you brought it up.

SirPrimalform: That's what I've been trying to tell you. You didn't look at the link did you? :P

The gold edition of the Microprose game is and always was called Duels of the Planeswalkers. That is the game it looked like you were talking about, which is why you need to specify the new one.
Like I said, I looked yesterday and most people would assume that I'd be talking about the newer version, because it makes absolutely no sense to buy the gold version of a game that was that bad. There's a reason why they had to give out rebates for the gold edition. I can't think of any other games where that was the case.

Sigh, only on GOG would not meaning the more obscure version require specifically stating that I'm not referring to the more obscure version.

mistermumbles: Which is coming right after Typing of the Dead.

KOCollins: Which is never coming.
You mean the DRM-Free, non-steamworks version of Dishonored? Just found out about it needing steamworks yesterday and my hope was shattered to pieces.
