Rocket Raccoon. I saw Guardians of the Galaxy (twice now) and loved it. Rocket and Groot were (probably quite predictably) my favorites, and I felt it was finally time to retire the fish. I used Groot on a couple other sites I frequent.

The Windwaker fish-man represents "Salar" - which has been my screen name or at least part of my screen name since my first year online. Salar is the Atlantic salmon, an old spelling of sailor, and means salty one ("of the salt"/"of the sea")

Besides, those fish-men in the game were very amusing :D

My current avatar (this one) is Feena from the game Ys I & II (two separate parts, but one game.) I stayed with my fennec fox for a long time, but when Trails in the Sky was released (same dev as the Ys games) and SCPM gifted it to me out of the blue, I was so shocked, grateful, and excited about the gift that I just HAD to switch to a Ys-related avatar!

Took it from Distant Stars mod for Sins of a Solar Empire. It's one of the custom portraits for The Advent faction, which I liked the most.

I was playing around and thought of seeing how it'd look as an avatar, only the usual one is on another device so it'll stay at least for a while.

The one that I'm using now is cause I'm presently sooooo into shooters. I had been, and still am, playing Sniper Elite 2 and was doin' a whole lotta shootin'....getting head shots and I got two "2 for 1s", so decided I needed an appropriate avatar. :-D
