But only as a pre-order bonus for Worms Revolution.

Let's hope it will be avaible for sale separately...

Ahem. =P
:<
Was going to preorder until I noticed that they already have DLC for it, costing almost as much as the game itself, and the DLC seems to consist of things that really should be in the game from launch, like level editor.

I'm a big Worms fan, and I'm not usually one to complain about DLC, but this is taking the piss.
It's season pass. It gives you granted access to all present and future DLCs for one price.

But yeah, they probably have DLCs ready and done.

I feel sorry for people who bought Max Payne 3 Pass, because all DLCs that were made so far cost less than the pass itself, and the multiplayer is dying already :P

No, it says all the DLC released before the end of 2012, which is what, roughly 16 weeks away? Certainly doesn't seem to be "all future DLCs". And as I said, the content that they say the DLC seems like basic standard stuff that one would expect to be in the initial release.
Oh, ok, you're right.

So no, it's not worth it. But I'm gonna pre-order ithe game itself in early October, to get Worms Armageddon and the game.

Then i will buy all DLCs for pocket money during some holiday / summer sale or something.

Pretty much like I did with Worms Reloaded

edit:

oh fuck no.
they made level editor a paid DLC...

But wouldn't you consider it highly likely that Worms Armageddon will be appearing on GOG at some point in the future? I mean we've had Worms United and Worms 2 already, so WA is the next logical step...
The Steam forums are saying that some of the original voice packs have been cut out of the game. But apparently it does a rewritten renderer (stops DirectDraw colour palette screw ups) which hasn't been patched into the CD version yet.

I'll probably get the new Worms game but the DLC really is lame.

Yeah, that's what I was referring to too. I'm happy to pay for a bit of DLC here and there, but a level editor should be a standard feature for games like worms, and there's no way in hell that I'm paying extra for it. It's not a matter of money, it's a matter of not getting raped by their greed.

Yeah, but I am afraid that they made W:A Steam exclusive to boost up sales for Revolution.

Worms 2 is avaible already on GOG but not on Steam...

And I want Revolution too, so it's a win-win for me.

The beta v3.6.31.0 patch fixed that for me on 64-bit Windows 7...

Just checked and I'm on an older v3.6.28.0 from 2007.

I get the occasional colour problem which a quick alt+tab in and out usually fixes. Didn't realize for such an old game I was out of date.
Need for the gog worms to kill off steam worms so we can get Armageddon.

Wow. That's terrible. (Good thing I got that free level editor with Worms 2. ;)) Not that I was terribly interested in this new incarnation anyway since it looks like total ass to me.
