Probably, unless he programmed his bot to argue that he's not a bot.

I'm still most pissed at him that he doesn't link to a ZZ Top song at the very least.

Oh the post was definitely human. The "Happy Birthday" was sarcastic. He did not like it when I initially caught him out (in the first post of the deadly shadows giveaway I think).

Why not change the order of the brackets? A bot couldn't get through that, could it?

Ultimately, just posting codes in any way is susceptible to bots (also runs the risk of a code not being redeemed by the first guy and sitting unable to redeemed for awhile giving the bot a better chance).

First person to reply, etc. giveaways are probably the best way to defeat the bots, because at least even if one replies first you can ignore it and there's no key redeem cooldown shenanigans to deal with.

I know that, but it would be boring :P Another way would be to replace one single letter/number with a * and then explain what that means under the code, like:

*=number/Stooges

And a real person would know that's a 3. A bot can't know that.

Still left with the possible issue of redeem cooldowns wish apparently has been an issue for awhile and makes you wonder how many old un-redeemed codes are around, heh.

There are answers dude, it's a long discussed problem. There are solutions in play in the ninja giveaway, there'll be others here. It's one of those things we have to evolve with.

Don't try to boil the ocean here, we know there are options :)
