Da das in meinen part gehört und mein Home Office gerade etwas ruhiger ist, hab ich mir mal erlaubt, das selbst aufzunehmen. Da muss Seb also nicht nochmal ran :)

Es fehlt nach wie vor das von mir genannte ADOM (Ancient Domains of Mystery) von Assemble Entertainment bzw. ursprünglich Thomas Biskup und Jochen Terstiege.

Außerdem ist mir gerade aufgefallen, dass das Spiel "The Raven Remastered" von King Art noch in die LIste gehört.

Ich habe es in meinen part aufgenommen. Da ich aber am limit mit den Links bin, musste ich den FarCry Eintrag rauswerfeen und zum zweiten part schieben. Das Seb den erst dort wieder eintragen muss, ist FarCry so lange nicht dabei.

So, jetzt ist "we are football" erschienen, bekanntlich auch aus Germany.

Ähem... es heißt "ELEX" und nicht "Ellex"

Im übrigen... sollten in einer Liste deutscher Spiele nicht auch die deutschen Titel stehen?

Das dürfte eine Gretchenfrage sein. Vom Prinzip her hast du sucher recht, aber die Idee ist ja, dass man auf deutsche Spiele hier bei GOG aufmerksam wird und diese somit auch anhand der Titel findet - ich weiß nicht einmal, ob GOG bei jedem der deutschen Titel auch schon den entsprechenden Deutschen Titel auf der deutschen Seite nutzt (ich hab meine GOG Site auf englisch eingestellt, weil ich das immer so gewohnt war).

Da fiel mir letztens auf, dass GOG da teilweise inkonsistent zu sein scheint.

Normalerweise sagt man ja, dass man Eigennamen nicht übersetzt...
So halte ich das zumindest immer in beide Richtungen.

Beispiel:

Finde ich ehrlich gesagt unschön, hier "Democracy" mit "Demokratie" zu übersetzen, wenn auch richtig, und dann das ganze bei den DLCs nicht zu machen.

Da der Titel des Spieles aber nun mal richtigerweise "Democracy" und nicht "Demokratie", finde ich sollte immer der richtige Titel genannt werden.

Und wenn das Spiel im Original eben anders heißt, würde ich es auch dabei belassen.

Das verwirrt sonst nur.

Ist ein gutes Argument - mir ist es gleich, kann das auch umstellen. Aber das soll Seb entscheiden - ist ja nicht meine Liste :)

Bitte poste ein paar originale / Deutsche Titelnamen Namen und wir können sie zusammenstellen. :)

Anyway - the German original names should be shown the moment you switch the GOG page from English to German - at least whenever they've already translated them. I'll check this out tomorrow.

Okay, ich habe mir das mit den deutschen Titeln und der Übersetzung mal angesehen. Das ganze ist leider problematischer als ich dachte, da die Spiele z.B. bei "Archimedean Dynasty = Schleichfahrt" nicht immer in den gleichen Bereich der Liste gehören. Damit kann ich also nicht einfach "meinen" Teil der Liste abändern und gut ist. Es muss eine Person (im Zweifel Seb) die KOMPLETTE Liste neu basteln und wieder in drei Teile aufteilen, an Hexer und mich schicken, so dass wir sie dann wieder posten. Meiner Meinung nach ein wenig viel Arbeit für das zu erwartende Ergebnis. Wenn Seb das tatsächlich machen möchte, bin ich dabei - aber ich werde es sicher nicht selbst machen. Wenn man mich fragt, ist die Liste auch so schon gut genug und etliche Spiele haben ja den gleichen oder einen ähnlichen Namen wie im Englischen.

Since this list is split up in three parts which were posted by three different people I'd say it is far too much work to rework it again just to see the German titles of the game on the list. Yes it would be possible. Seb would have to rework the COMPLETE list, cut it again in three pieces and send both me and Hexer the new parts to post them. I personally don't think that this is worth the effort but if he wants to do so I am ready to post my part of the list.

Ich finde es halt etwas seltsam. Das ist hier das deutschsprachige Forum und wir sammeln auch noch Spiele "Made in Germany".
(Ich hab übrigens auch mal die Liste der Spiele "Made in Poland" überflogen und festgestellt, dass mir da viele Titel nix sagen. Die verwenden nämlich wohl die polnischen Titel ... und ich kann kein Polnisch :( )

OK bei den meisten ist es wurscht, weil die keinen eigenen offiziellen deutschen Titel haben, ich denke aber auch, die meisten Leser hier sind deutschsprachig und werden die Spiele eher ihrem deutschen Titel nach kennen.

The idea of English names in all of those lists is to let the world know about local developers.
Some of the local game titles e.g. Polish have no translations as they were never released outside the country. Some of the titles have only English names and they were never released under any other language. This is pretty mixed. We only added local titles to the games that were released under those titles. e.g Wiedźmin is the original name of the game but it has been published under The Witcher name (there are no "the"or "a" before words in Polish, and that is slightly changing a meaning for a good start because he is just one of many) then he isn`t male witch, of course, neither warlock nor wizard nor whatever internet is trying to makeup, it delivers from the word "Wiedźma" "Witch" and in the local ancient history of Silesia(my homeland) there are good and bad witches, and bad witches used their knowledge to hurt and good witches used their knowledge to heal. So furthermore he is one of many who following the path of good. Then again a word Wiedźma is delivered from "wiedzieć" "to know".
So finally he is a one of many who know how to protect people. And if someone would ask me how to translate it to English I would say... The Knower no wait... The Witcher sounds better. :D But this is true, alphabetization can go in the same language.

Please have a look at those lists and decide further. Personally, I like everything local and I am willing to add German titles to my part, but if you are looking to rebuild the list from the base up I am counting on you, and can paste any "data" in my post or even better, my post can be deleted and anyone interested can take full control over the list, I do not mind as long as German videogames are on the list : ) I have asked Marko for publishing and he has all rights to this list :D

Looking at those lists it seems as if they all mostly do use the English titles. If this would be a poll - I am fine with keeping it the way it is. Like I saidm I don't see a big advantage of listing the German titles. The only "problem" is that this is the German forum and we are used to get everything in German ;) But since the French and the Chinese ect. also did not mind to use the English titles I really fail to see why we should make it more complicated than it is. That's my opinion.
