anyways, i thought the OC had pretty decent dialog and should at least be played for the tutorial. otherwise boringly linear. haven't tried the expansion campaigns yet. the installed "Witcher's Wake" module is intriguing so far, but maybe i should start with a higher level character ,or a boring ol' fighter since the surrounding wolves keep eating my lv.2 rogue ass. never quite found the time or movtivation to explore every already-installed mod in the diamond edition.
as for fan-made mods, i found "The Silver Key" to be annoyingly hard , full of cringey bad jokes and game-breaking bugs. but for the munchkin in me , it looks like it can be very exploitable for creating overpowered characters for use in other mods or just testing out different builds on ridiculously powerful space demons or whatever.
the somewhat infamous "A Dance with Rogues" turned out to be a bit too linear for my tastes. too many unskippable in-game cutscenes, fights are too hard and should be avoided(too bad boss fights can't be skipped), and it pretty much forces you to play as a human/half-elf female rogue. and call me a trannie, but i probably had more fun dressing up mah "birdie" in various slutty clothing, instead of progressing the plot. it's funny how every female version of the same armor becomes extra slutty when a female character wears one. even full plate armor becomes bikini armor!
the series of mods i read about ,in another forum, that's suppose to be a Planescape:Torment remake sounds like it might be impressive.
i think it's this one.
