Is there a bug here? no mater what difficulty I try filling the bar several times, noting happens

dont know if it is a bug, but some people definitely are experiencing difficulties with passing this QTE...

What should I do to pass this?

hi. i have same problem as mentioned above, after cutting all four tentacles qte never plays till end, there's no broken bridge and battle can't be finished. normal, easy, mouse sensitivity on 10...no help. so, is someone willing to finish damn creature and send back savegame? my save is here : http://www.megaupload.com/?d=XO94EHFA

well I finished the game without any other problems... now I started the game once more, with different character build (and wanna try to side with Roche), but even the 1.2 patch didnt fix my problem with kayran, and once again I am doomed by that unbeatable QTE... if anyone can finish the kayran for me and upload my save just after the battle, I will be grateful...

That save you uploaded was in the caves where the Ostmurk is, but I went ahead and got it, made the mongoose potion, talked to Sile (getting the flirty persuasion dialog that does nothing, just in case it plays into a future game, of course), and killed the Kayran.

Also looted it, which overencumbered you. Sorry about that, but I'm not sure if the loot points disappear.

EDIT: I actually forgot to use the mongoose potion, so you should still have it. Just in case you see it and are confused about why... yeah.

I don't know if it's just me, but the Kayran seems to hit a heck of a lot harder now and I die after 3 hits. Did they make this beast tougher in the patch?
