armagan: I looted it without any problems, was I lucky? AFAIK after fight, when Iorveth asked to go to the ruins I chose "I'm not ready yet" or something like that, I was able to roam freely after that and I looted the arachas.
Same here, but there was no body noir anything else that counted as an item except for the sword of kaehran, further up. hanns.g: There are a couple other threads about this. Common problem. I experienced it on second play.
From the other threads, it seems that the corpse is always there somewhere. It is just that sometimes the medallion fails to light it up. (And it is nigh on impossible to grab before the cut scene.)
I redid the fight once and got it to light up the second time. Some people have to redo it close to a dozen times. Some people are able to locate it in the brush without the medallion's help.
There are plenty of modding options now. There may not be one that directly addresses this issue, but it would be pretty simple to use one of them to place the Eyes in a vendor inventory.
Well after 5-8 reloads I gave up, waste of time if you ask me, the corpse is long gone on my save, and i'm already on chapter 2. Yeah mods is probably the only way so far or a patch.
greenfish: Already tried that, but the cut scene triggers too fast. I'm already on chapter 2 now. I'm just gonna wait until they patch this quest. Thanks for trying though.
kahleek, glad to hear i'm not alone!
vAddicatedGamer: I had the same problem too the first time I fought the damn thing. kahleek, glad to hear i'm not alone!
What I did was, I kinda lure the Aracha to a spot and try to remember roughly where that spot is (I also checked the map to make sure where I am). After the cutscene I searched around the area and found the remains.

revial: As insensitive as it may sound, I suspect it's far more likely that some people are a tad blind than the items simply vanished. :p As insensitive as it may sound, I suspect it's far more likely you're an idiot, how's that?
