BloodMist: *sigh*....I was hoping it was just me and there was a way to get at least Steam to work again. What a complete and total crock. It's one of the most unoptimized programs I've ever used, and now the integrations don't even work. Cute. Real cute. Oh, and the activity feed doesn't work anymore either.
same for me dont work anymore.
Version 1.2.1 beta works correctly as of February 23, 2024.

kjdragonkiller: June 2023 - got this working finally after 5 months of it being broken.

Steps on windows 10

1- Log out and close GOG galaxy! Important!!!

2- Go to C:\Users\<Insert YOUR USERNAME>\AppData\Local\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\steam_ca27391f-2675-49b1-92c0-896d43afa4f8

(you will need to view hidden files to get access to this folder sometimes)

3- delete all steam files in there. Don't delete the folder.

4- Go to github link in this forum thread github.com/ABaumher/galaxy-integration-steam/releases/tag/Beta

5- Download zip and extract files.

6- Then paste files into that folder above.

7- login to gog galaxy

8- go to settings and integrations

9- insert your steam user id and password

10- complete authentication verification on your mobile app...

and boom you now have your whole steam lib in there... mine went from 500 to 900 !
Works great for Windows 11 as well. Both the 1.2.1 beta & the 1.0.8 work just fine. The github page also has these steps in their install instructions.

Thank you, this worked fine on my PC. But on my Mac the installer did not work, it indicated: No such file or directory

The right directory on a Mac is: ~/Library/Application Support/GOG.com/Galaxy/plugins/installed/steam_ca27391f-2675-49b1-92c0-896d43afa4f8/

I then copied the files from mac.zip by hand to the right folder. Unfortunately the Steam Plugin (v 1.2.1 beta) will crash immediately when GOG Galaxy loads.

When I reinstall the old Steam Plugin v 1.0.7 it will load again but no connection to steam...

Not working for me :(
I'm running Win10 and followed the instructions to the dot, multiple times.
What else can I check?
It works!
My error was: following some instructions I ended up deleting/renaming the Steam folder.
So I ended up extracting the plugin files into
%localappdata%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\steam
instead of
%localappdata%\GOG.com\Galaxy\plugins\installed\steam_ca27391f-2675-49b1-92c0-896d43afa4f8

Fixed the name, now everything works :D
I am now using 1.2.1Beta plugin and I can connect to my Steam account, but the library is not importing to GOG Galaxy. I tried deleting plugins, reinstalling the launcher, and deleting caches, but still not syncing Steam library to GOG launcher. How do I fix this problem?

Confirmed working (win 10), manual copy of archive content to directory
What a joke. So remove the non working integrations and don't let users mess arround for hours with that.

If you don't have the skills or time, be fair and remove this stuff.

I'm moving to Playnite.
This worked for me when I had the issue in January, but it's not working anymore. Something happened in the last week and my Steam games stopped being able to play from GOG, so I reconnected, but now nothing from Steam import anymore. I tried clearing the plugin and redoing the fix and it's still broken.

It's working... partially
When you conect the Steam account, it only gets few games, so, you'll need to Sync integrations for few more times, because for some reason (timeout maybe) it gets only few games at a time, not the whole Steam library at once.

But once you exit GOG Galaxy, the connection is broken, Steam shows Offline and it doesn't reconnect...
User @sailmaker.769 in another thread posted a reddit link with solutions to plgin problems.
Steam plugin listed there works perfectly!

It's working fully again. It took about a week and then suddenly started syncing properly.
