Favor or not, it's still long after release.
to be honest i was really excited for the "Next gen" update but after seeing it online I am kinda happy that i don't have it. Some of the creation club content is quite cool like the makeshift weapons one. But rest of the update just broke the game in more ways then it fixed it. Also most of the mods are broken which sucks asf
Might download the current version installer and back it up.
What is the point of even having GOG games if they will not ever be supported by the likes of Wabbajack and others? And we don't get CC content. Plus you keep us waiting on our own release for weeks at a time. You still wind up having to use pirated copies of the Steam version anyway. This is bullcrap.

You can easily add the CC content using mods. Also the update is fully on Bethesda's side so it's not like GOG can do anything about it. Also regarding CC, CC is technically DRM. That's why it's not included on the GOG version. There is even a warning about it on Fallout's 4 store page.
Yeah, firstly, as for GOG's DRM-free version not including some CC content, count yourselves lucky because CC stuff is often silly and can cause issues of their own.

And the supposed "Next Gen" update is of little-to-no use to 99% of PC gamers. What little the new content has is out-shone by long-existing mods. And as for the supposed fixes they've barely scratched the surface! - a tokenistic dozen minor things out of the hundreds tackled by mods like UFO4P.

Frankly, Bethesda literally and insultingly just broke the game for PC owners in order to squeeze a few more bucks out of the game for the console market. A shameful update really. So, no, I for one won't be rushing to download once the offline files become available.
