From the Steam announcement: notes:
"Please note: The Fallout 4 next gen update is not currently available on GOG but will be available soon. We will let you know as soon as we can."

Be careful!

Just wanted to warn ppl when the GOG version of this 'update' is released, be careful. A lot of Steam ppl got auto-updated and it literally broke not just mods but the whole game. Apparently Bethesda has a history of releasing buggy games and updates.

I would caution everyone before upgrading.
I have the game on Steam but just bought it here again, as it does crash all the time after the "next gen" upgrade and most mods don't work anymore. With GOG I can just go back to the "old" version.

Guys don't even wait for the update lol

it changes no textures. fixes only a couple of bugs and and like 2 new features that are bugged.
Essentially they broke mods and thats it.

For me I have a UW monitor so the update is needed unless i want to mod the game. There was a mod that made the game more UW compatible. Considering Bugdethsda's history seems like it would be a good idea to DL that mod since it will likely work better.

Man, I am not sure if that is the lazy or something. Guess ill really have to make use of that ultrawide mod then.
