Yes, most people don't care about VR, but it had its own little campaign taking place at the same time as Doom 2016, where you play a different character. Given its VR-nature it was slightly more "Scary", evoking some Doom 3 vibes.

GOG does have a few VR titles and I'd love to have that too. Yes, it's Bethesda's call, but also a matter of GOG actually asking for it.

I'm sure Bethesda would be more protective of Doom Eternal than Doom VFR.

That is incredible to know that one of the best shooter games of the 2010s has finally come to GOG. It's a real bummer that none of the multiplayer content is included though, but I guess that's what happens when recent games rely too much on dependency for online services. They could have at least added in legacy network elements similar to what the older games have, but chose not to. Other than that, I'm just glad DOOM 2016 finally got the DRM-Free future it deserves, so it's definitely better than nothing. Now if only we could get DOOM Eternal and The Dark Ages on here as well.
