GameRager: I guess it forgot to check itself before it SHREK'd itself. ;) o.0

firstpastthepost: That's second time someone has referenced Shrek... am I missing something in regards to Shrek being important right now?
He has some popular memes(some to do with things ending up badly), and he's in some fantasy movies.
Everyone will die.

lolplatypus: She wasn't a nice person there, either.
I thought she was a fan favorite, with some people even naming their daughters after her (lol).

LootHunter: Everyone will die.
Um, I think OP wanted predictions on the ending of Game of Thrones, NOT the ending of human life in general. ;)

I'll get some flak for this, but: With such sh*tty parenting nowadays, maybe they just picked the most b*tchiest woman they could find to name their kid after. ;\

Everyone dies would have been my next prediction behind my opening one. With some nobody taking the throne after they all die. A nobody played by George RR Martin.
Never watched an episode, still waiting for the last two books. But I've heard so many spoilers I, by now, know everything about all that is yet to come. :/
Anyhow, Daenerys gets butchered and burned to a crisp, no wait, she wins and right after she sits the Iron Throne she gets crowned with a crown of molten gold, no better yet, she slips on a banana peel and falls face first into a sword. A lovely ending. If this happens I don't even care who 'wins' :D
Just to be clear, I don't hate Daenerys, I just don't like her that much. :P

You might be right about that last bit....I wouldn't put it past him after hearing about his massive ego(and calling Tolkien a hack/etc).

I think it's not entirely clear how identical the endings of the show and the books will be.
Maybe vaguely similar, but there seem to be many differences in the depiction of characters between show and novels anyway.

True, there've been a few differences.
Well, even if the books and the show share the same ending (which seems to be the case if you want to believe the internet...and apparently Martin himself said so), the books will finish the tale with style.

She was a fan favourite. She was also a terrible person. That's not mutually exclusive.
It's like wrestling: you can be an asshole, but if the commentators put you over, the marks buy your merch.

Also as far as I understood it, people were naming their daughters after her title. Which is a bit hillarious.

Yes, Khaleesa or something of the sort iirc.
If I understand correctly, a lot of people interpreted her character as some sort of feminist statement about female power.
Probably doesn't look so good now, lol.

Stephen King also was quoted as basically saying that he did Maximum Overdrive himself to get it right/that because he did it it would be done right. :\

I don't know, honestly. People aren't infallible. I'd even say the character has been more sympathetic and relatable this season than ever before. There's this idea that strong characters that are meant to be empowered aren't allowed to have flaws or even show emotion and I can't say I agree with that.

firstpastthepost: What do you think?
Well. as I have revealed earlier, I have only seen the first season, and one or two episodes of the second season, so my predictions will be to the events after that (start of the second season).

I think that blond hot chick and the midget man fall in love at some point and raise a family.

The mysterious evil nordic people invade from the north when the sea finally freezes over due to reverse climate change, and conquer the lands.

That blond chick and the midget raise several dragons and push the evil Nordics back to Finland eventually, and then they build a big wall to keep the bad people out, a bit like Trump.

The evil young ruler is probably killed at some point by her young reluctant wife, and then the wife commits suicide. The ruler's mother is pissed of course but what can she do? Nothing.

I think they're actually enemies now.
The undead Finns have all been exterminated, I hope you're not too sad about that.
