MrFortyFive: Look at all those extras. Good to see that we still get those sometimes. Thanks, GOG and 1C!
Indeed! And at a price where the soundtrack of other games already is more expensive. That alone is a reason to buy the game. But I've to install and try the first game before to see if this is my kind of game. And it looks like I'm not the only one. :)

The game doesn't come with Linux support, but the AppDB entry for Wine looks promising. Can someone confirm that the GOG version of the game works under Wine?

See what GOG (not * Steam) did with that hand ?

Given the nature of some recent GOG releases, I am somehow not surprised... and, for my own sake, will refrain from making any further comment.

I figure you are talking about the burgundy knob at her left side in that GOG montage, are you not ?

Im curious. How come the soundtrack comes with this one but not no.1 ?
Just realised there's a Star Wolves 3. Now that I know this, I can't buy this game.
Stupid compulsive train of thought.

Like me and feel a compulsion to play a series out of order or just want the latest one first?

Not so much the latest first. If I know there's a later game, I won't play anything before it; Unless the end of previous games flows onto the beginning of the next.

Dalthnock: It's really embarrassing to get all excited about a game & then realise you already bought it, isn't it?
Heh, in such moments it also dawns on me that my wife could have some point in all those biting comments that concern my hobby :-P
Haha, and I haven't even gotten around to playing the 1st installment of Star Wolves that I own. I love the box-art for this title a lot though. :)

Why on Earth did GOG make her bust bigger, assuming it was them? If you look at the poster included you can see there's subtle changes there. What gave it away - to me - was a curved shadow on her right arm, which isn't on the included poster. Admittedly, whoever did it wasted their time as there's no really visible difference, just some really awful mistakes on the art.

Fantastic song!
I thought Sam Cook was only about "wooly bully" but that's another Sam ;p

About the russian cover: somehow the chick in white (the pointy one! :D) is nonchalantly thinking "meh, our game is "kinda ok" but this chick has tremendously huge breasts so you should consider playing it" ;D

And that's not a meh game afterall! ;)

Grargar: No. The one you are thinking of was Space Rangers.
avatar
Matruchus: Yeah, that probably it. Similar names.
I was thinking the same thing. I checked and only had the first game and couldn't work out why I thought that. Space Rangers makes sense. I bought them before the removal.

Ok on the wishlist it goes.....................
I played it when it was on steam. Its broken and incomplete. Star Wolves was good. Star Wolves 2 rushed out the door and never finished. IMO. Buyer beware.
Finally it's about time!!!

I love when my wish become green :))
