MaximumBunny: Starting off with bad logic, saying you don't care, and then asserting that you're trying is pretty contradictory. But it's not like we expected consistency from a selfish kid anyway so don't sweat it. (-‿^)

Sure ting - wutever you say, Jesus.
geezum crow! I missed the second coming as well as Elmer's FUD.
Should have built your own system and saved money, if I can do it, anyone can.

LiquidOxygen80: I just looked over the specs for a lot of the Steam Machines and for what you get, they're drastically overpriced. I couldn't possibly recommend the SM avenue for anyone wanting a "PC-like" experience for the prices they're asking, when the mid to lower end machines are either already fairly rapidly becoming obsolete, or only have a year's worth of relevance left.
Exactly my point with them.

Lol. Look under your pillow.

carnival73: But couldn't get into their website. Got me a Dell instead.

Wishbone: Given that Alienware is owned by Dell, and a considerable percentage of the price you pay is just for the Alienware name, I'd say you're probably better off that way.
pretty much.

OK, I'm game, is it anything like "What's in the box?"

Fairfox: Then again when I first got it the keyboard lights kept flickering and over the phone they tried to get me to take the whole thing apart within the first day, manually, to fix it. I don't fix your flaws, noobs! (Plus I know nothing about tech stuffages, evah...)
One nice thing about Dellienware - for those inclined to turn a screwdriver - is that they have complete factory manuals on their support site, walking you through the step-by-step, screw-by-screw process of replacing every part on the thing. That'll be handy when / if I replace this screen in the next month or two. Access to the repair manuals is a nice touch that I wish every manufacturer would offer.
