vulchor: Neither is the Civilization franchise (I don't mean the bastard Activision games, I mean the true Sid Meier ones). Civ 1 and 2 at least would have been up long ago if it were ever going to happen.
I know that it's not "the real deal", but have you checked out Freeciv yet? It's a very faithful open-source recreation of the series, with a strong focus on the first two games.

I sometimes stop by their website every year or two to see what progress they've made. I see they now have a way to play completely online without really downloading anything. That's pretty cool. I haven't actually downloaded a version since a very early alpha that feels like 100 years ago, hahaha. I think only exploration really worked at that point. I'm glad that they've managed to get this far. I own multiple copies of every Civ game already, so I don't really have the need for Free Civ, but it's quite cool what they've done. I'm more of a purist though.

notsofastmyboy: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Still, with this game being distributed by EA, my hopes of ever seeing it here on GOG are practically zero.

TStael: And EA Origin is, IMO, a courtesy, as Amalur is so CD friendly and commercially messy, all at once. And at least EA pricing is fairly attractive, vs Morrowind insult here, eh?
How is $20 for Morrowing an insult? It's very much worth every penny, and with mods you can get it looking just as good as a new game today. In my opinion it is by far the best of the entire Elder Scrolls franchise. Skyrim doesn't have anything on Morrowind. You have to mod Skyrim to even make the game a challenge.

For me at the moment it's the MacVenture games and (spoiler alert :P) Command & Conquer.

PEACE THROUGH POWER!!! LONG LIVE THE BROTHERHOOD! :P

(I second this if you didn't guess)

Indeed. :)
At this point, with System Shock and the old SSI D&D games here, I'd believe almost anything old, noteworthy and was at one point on a PC could come to GOG.
I am hoping that CDProject Red buys the various Konami licenses. That property is too good to be sequestered within a derelict has-been of a corporation.

YaTEdiGo: The MOH version here has Svasticas or blood?
Should have, since it's the English version (only). Before the German translation of the site there used to be a screenshot of the "show pass" scene, where a swastika is clearly seen. But all screenshots with "symbols" seem to have been removed from the store page.
After getting the first syndicate and some of the old D&D games I've actually gained hope. Who here thought we'd ever see the return of the fallouts and Syndicate 1 and the Gold box games? In the span of a few months at that this year.

Both Syndicate games were here for a long while and never really went away :P
Just Take 2 Interactive. All of their games. After GOG gained Bethesda, Warner Bros, Paradox, and Disney, I thought Take 2 would surely follow. Now with X-Com 2 coming out soon, it would seem to be a perfect time to spread the X-come love around in anticipation of the X-Com 2 release. We also saw the release of Telltale's Borderlands game, which I thought might make a bridge for the eventual release of Borderlands. No luck so far.

Bioshock, Max Payne, Civilization, Borderlands, Mafia, so many good games. Don't know if it's ever going to happen.

It would be cool, is a game I always play back from time to time.

As the first time buyer, surely indeed not - it is a bargain, because I rate Morrowind as one of the best cum finest games ever published.

This is one of those games that I would not say I pick up again every year, because the gameplay value is extraordinarily long and requires quite some time investment. But I will feel a compelling pull to replay Morrowind ever so often as long as I will game. It is that good.

But...

I would prefer to rebuy my physical CD for 6.03 sterling as is the going price with Amazon, without either Steam (as there), or Steamless premium attached (as here), as this was how the game was first published. Bait and switch, feel I - because Morrowind was indeed published to have lasting value.

But I meanwhile highly recommend Morrowind for anyone whom might not have discovered it earlier, unless you happen to come across the original game CDs by a very happy chance in a second hand store...

There: just pounce!

This is is how my love affair with Larian started, for the record, with second hand Divine Divinity. And thence - it has been pre-order for everything, and KS backing too. THIS is bait n bait - faire n square, to me.

But switching unto Steam or premium pricing years past just leaves me cold and bothered, even if I value gog.com and have come to accept Steam as lifeline for non-corporate publishers.
