musteriuz: Will hold off until tomorrow (dv) to see what the surprise is first, though.
I don't wanna wait. I want it now....
How does that Layers of Fear game compare to Amnesia?

Evixios: While I don't complain about new sales, it feels like the pinata sale was just a few weeks ago.. Well here we go again I guess. Buy buy buy. What about bringing some more classics or other new stuff to GOG next time. There's a lot of good EA stuff that still needs a nice DRM-free treatment just to name a brand ;)
Glad there's no pinata (apparently), those are the worst sales.

I've played both.

It's different.

It's more of a walking simulator, there are a couple of jumpscares, it's shorter, but it's also well put technically and overall well done.

Yup. Rich idea.

Is it better than a Machine for Pigs?

Also, have you tried that Tharsis game?

Machine for Pigs is shit. Fitting, I know. But most of their games I'm not interested in. (all I have played actually :p)

Nope. But I've heard the dice mechanics can easily get on nerves. :P

I hope I come away with my very own GOG Bear! :D

I'll take the relationship to the next level when I remove them from my radiant flower, the bonds of slavery! Viola!

Well, my library is relatively small (43 games), maybe I will buy some. But have to watch, how much I spend and also buy only games, that I will really play.

Your very own surprise installation of Galaxy more likely :P

You're so right...
I have played just a couple of games. So I can't give a detailed description. But the dice machanism is not bad per se, but it could ruin a rather perfect run, to a not-finishable play. But I can't tell if that's because I didn't play enough to get a better feeling for the strategy.
If you don't mind the luck based on dice at all, go for it.

Short description:
A crew in a spaceship. Several days left to reach Mars. Every day one or more components of the ship malfunction and you have to send a crew member to repair the damage. Every character has a special ability which you can use by sacrifying dice. You just have a limited amount of dice per character. You might lose dice due to specific damages and I guess aditionally one dice per round. You can get some dice back, but it will require specific action or cost you don't want to pay. The goal is to reach Mars or survive a given number of days.

Thanks for the info!

Also, do you know if TIS-100 is any good?

Don't own it. Sorry.
Old games don't get any love in this sale.

Now I'm curious. :) Sounds like a freebie... but why only on Tuesday? Why the super-special wording? Why saying it sounds odd, when it has been done many times before? Why do I have the habit of reading too much into things?

Fornately we won't have to wait long.

Two completly different feeling games. Both excellent in their own way and both quite original at their time of release. Both need to be experienced if you're a fan of horror and to a lesser extent puzzle games.
Plenty to recommend, none to buy. Unfortunately my PC can't handle the games that would otherwise tickle my wallet.
