Breja: Because it's not a pixelated, proceduraly generated zombie survival game.
There was a time when we wete flooded by "indie puzzle platformer with physics". I wonder what's next? Ambitious p&c game with tough moral choices that matter? Or...

Telika: Oh well. I had played first two first Sorcery on android, and I adored them, for the faithfulness to the book's design, for the added tabletop feel, for the convenient mapping/backtracking system... It worked very well for me. Was the balance I needed.
From what I have read the 3rd one (Seven Serpents) isn't all that faithful to original anymore and differs quite a lot from the original gamebook, though.
But it is supposedly still good on its own.
Voted.

Regarding gog.com turning down games:
If I remember correctly gog-staff plays new games to decide whether a game fits to gog.com or not. Judas wrote something about it I think. So the reason for turning down games could be simple that there are too many games and too few gog-staff members to test-play the games. So it might be not fair to blame gog.com for categorizing games as to niche...

Okay. Egoistically that won't bother me much for books I haven't played (such as anything outside the "fighting fantasy" collection), but it might nag me with the familiar ones.

Oh well.

Here's RPS's review of the game
Looks quite cool.
GOG probaly declined it, because they're swamped as usual.
Better than the last crappy games released here ^^
I voted yes!
I think a troll tossed the coin and it ended up on wrong side, therefore being rejected. xD Shame, it looks very interesting and has good reviews.
I used to be avid these game books, voted!
Whoever is in charge of GOG curation should be named, shamed and fired for their complete and utter ignorance and incompetence. This game actually looks really charming. I'll give it a little time, but if GOG takes too long I'll just grab this on Humble.

See how well your magical curation is working out for you guys? Hm?

As I mentioned in another post, it seems they haven't actually submitted this particular game to GOG. They were apparently rejected several times in the past, so they felt like it's not really worth the effort. Maybe there's still hope for a GOG release of this and their other games, but most likely not in the near future.

So, yeah, I guess Humble or Steam it is. :(
