Hello Gog.com,

your website relaunch is an utter failure. Usually only the start site didn't work anymore (was not logged in on front site only on subsites). But since yesterday I can't see screenshots of games anymore, I CANT BUY GAMES ANYMORE, and I can't wishlist games anymore.

Modern websites are utter trash. HTML5 sucks

£10 says it's Internet Explorer. M$, breaking stuff so don't have to. Not saying the new website is any good at all, the pages of threads on the subject is an indicator, but compounding the problem with an out of date, unsupported browser, which never worked in the first place...

Actually, less that Microsoft has broken anything, and more that IE11 hasn't received a feature update in it's 5 year life. What has changed is the rest of the internet such as the mass adoption of CSS. (Which matches one of your points outright.)

Yes and no. Modern websites are mostly trash, but it's not the fault of HTML5. It's the fault of the people who abuse it.

I am using firefox 43.0.1 and I am a web-developer myself. I am not going to update my firefox because newer firefoxes are crap and extremely limited. I downgraded it on purpose to use my extensions.
The old website worked fine and the features of newer browser are shit memory-hogs. There is no reason a website should require as much memory as html5 and css3 think it should. HTML5 is an abuse of the users computer.

And then there are those mega retarded modern trends like angular and jquery for people who can't code. That shit is slow and adds to the modern memory hoggery of modern shit websites. Fucking get back to the basics you fucking noobs. A website should be simple and thus work in old browsers. It's a fucking website, not a fucking video game... man I hate fucking modern webdevs who got no fucking shit clue what they are doing

Even the latest 52 version doesn't work, even though it was only a month old when they updated the design. Add to that all the forks, then the IE stuff and then there were also issues with Opera IIRC. There were tons of threads about it. Really weird that NOW someone is actually replying to such a topic, two months after all the problems started.

But even if you ignore all the things that don't work at all, you still have all the other issues (auto-playing videos, no video game names unless you hover over it which starts those damn videos, castrated filter options etc etc etc).

Not the one you are asking but version 52 already had minor issues with addons. Current ESR version is 60 which is post-Quantum, so of course it doesn't support them.
