Anyone that thinks that if God exists, can explain his or HER or ITS will with a "Bible" or "Coram" or "Tora" or whatever... should look around, and pay attention to the Cosmos, and check how big is the universe, and how many miracles are out there and even inside us all the f... time, to start thinking that all the bullshit in that books has zero options of being truth... more when GOD, supposed creator of the universe, tell you that women need to be covered by burkas, or that you need to circumcised, that you cannot use condoms, or that if you are gay you will go to hell, or limbo, etc, etc, etc...

In this small pale blue dot of dust in the middle of a huge almost infinite universe these stupid things are very important to the Creator of the Universe itself, YEAH SURE... is SO RIDICULOUS that I wonder how people can still believe that children fairy tales.

I don't mind people believing in a god, whatever gets you through the day. If you absolutely need something, anything bigger than yourself to justify your own existence then so be it, it's a bit sad, but people are people.

What I DO mind though is those self same people not understanding that it's a man made control mechanism, even the various church hierarchies don't believe, (on a side not to Catholics.. how can you still believe in the righteousness of your church when it's hierarchy are all fucking children and even your pope has to step down because of scandal?) it's just powermongering, politicians by any other name, and before you all start to bleet and downvote this, go read up on how the protestant (CoE) church started that should explain everything to you in nice easy to understand concepts.. and after that if you still 'believe', well that's between you and your 'god'.

Whatever the truth may be, I can guarantee, it's not such a limited concept as a deity.

If you have to believe in something at least go believe in Buddha, at least that's a nice one.

That's not the source of it, though. It has this aspect, but that's just because there are always people who want control, and they would latch onto anything to gain that. I guess that some things just better lend themselves to that, and some of these are ideologies which are at their base are good, such as Christianity or communism.

Even some ' Buddhist' sects are really destructive. Agree with all other things.

Many things aren't really written in the scriptures, but are later interpretations and added rules. It's obvious that it can't be that all believers in God are right, but that doesn't immediately mean that God couldn't have given laws to people to live by. Also the bible laws should be judged according to their time period. They haven't been adapted to our modern times, but I don't think that's God's fault.

I'm not trying to claim or convince that God does exist, but I don't think that just having laws such as you mentioned precludes His existence.

Even if God will care about everything, just pointing first that it exist, and second that CARES, because God probably could also DON' T care... Use condoms? Not be gay? Burn the red haired people for being a Witch? Kill the infidels? Burn Scientists for saying the Earth is not the center of the universe? Cover women on clothes? Abusing Children? Go to "holy" War?

God "LAWS" are a mere excuse to gain power over the weak people, modern politics apply LAWS by agreement of a society, "GOD's LAWs" are by definition RIGHT, because they are spoken by the "all mighty powerful entity" and nobody cant complain about them, it is PRIMITIVE political power, and has NOTHING to be with the Universe, the existence, or GOD by itself.

You clearly didn't understand what I said. You're confusing several matters: whether God could exist, whether God would care, and whether God would say things such as these.

Thinking about it, it's possible that you simply have no idea what the scriptures say, so while it's easy for you to lash at religion, at what people have done in its name, it's based on ignorance. I'm not an expert either, but I think I'm less biased. People have done, and continue to do, evil things regardless of religion. The greatest senseless killings of millions of people in the 20th century, which beat everything ever done in the name of religion, were done by rulers who were decidedly anti-religion. The problem isn't religion, it's people. Even in your country, the millions killed during Chairman Mao's regime had nothing to do with religion.

You take an average Jew or Christian or Muslim, they are good people, and there are many parts in the scriptures which tell you to be kind to others and to help them. The ten commandments, even though they start with a rule about belief, are good moral rules. Jesus also preached good things regarding human interaction. Sure, the bible also includes things like slave laws, but clearly that's because at the time slaves were a standard, and having laws regarding them was better than letting people do whatever the wanted. People no longer use these laws because they're not relevant today.

As I said, you need to view these laws in the context of their times, and you need to separate the deeds of men from the laws that (supposedly) came from God. God, if he exists, interacted with man kind directly at very limited points in our history. The rest of it, as you correctly say, is the work of men.

You readed Science or check what is out there? God's Laws is the most stupid thing EVER... it responds to POLITICAL INTERESTS, period. It is so ridiculous to think that God talks to us in such a simple way as written common sense rules, or stupid interested powerful people rules. It is so stupid that claims to God!!!

Nobody has an antenna to talk with God, and think that if we have the possibility to talk with IT, is going to help us to written a book as CRUEL, and stupid as the old testament, or the Coram or Tora, full of injustices, stupid believes, and non sense crap... Do you believe in God, or in the possibility of God? If you don't, then this sentence is meaningless. If you do, then it's an assertion that's not really backed by anything.

Compare historical context with ' God's Laws' to justify them is as stupid as said that 1000 years ago the universe was created by a bearded man in days, and now we all think and speculate that it was during the Big Bang, and took more than stupid 7 days... apply this for the whole bible.
