mistermumbles: So far, so good. Out of curiosity I checked up on previous Atari games in GOG's catalog and it seems like they're still in here in one form or another. Looks like thankfully GOG was actually able to work out a deal with Wargaming.net for MoO and TA, as it is listed as the publisher now. Curiously, the license of Outcast looks like it may have actually gone back to the original developer? Moonbase Commander's listed under Rebellion's catalog now, while Star Control boasts the Stardock's name - still waiting on/hoping for Gal Civ 2 GOG release. Desperados seems to be under the Nordic Games banner a well.

That said, plenty of games are still just listed under the Atari name. I wonder what will happen to them as it would be a shame if they were to go up in smoke one day, especially Master of Magic, Colonization, Alone in the Dark, Rollercoaster Tycoon and Locomotion...

JinseiNGC224: Since the original Outcast team did require the rights to their game back they plan on making a new sequel, which I can imagine many here can't wait for that.

I am also waiting on Galactic Civ 2. The first one is great, but the second looks amazing (never actually played it).

I also hope for the best for the rest of the Atari games. I keep checking on occasion, but it's good that some of the titles people were worried about the most in terms of who took the rights, such as Wargaming.net, struck a deal with GOG.

mistermumbles: While linking to Colonization, it seems like the older Microprose games have now changed hands - interestingly enough Master of Magic is still listed in the ever-decreasing Atari game pile though. *shrug* Anyway, as far as my Google-Fu is concerned it seems like those titles are now owned by this company named Tommo. At least I'm assuming it's the same Tommo as it's the only one of its name I could find that dealt with video games.

They also supposedly acquired the Humongous catalog, so it'll be interesting if anything will happen with that for those among us who are curious. I still doubt GOG will bother releasing kids titles here though, notwithstanding the existence of Manhole.
