Gersen: Strange, what resolution are you in, I am in 1920x1200, also do you have an NVidia card ? maybe it's just another game who doesn't like ATI cards, wouldn't be the first time.
NVidia must be paying the developers to make it have problems on AMD cards. You see, having played through the first Deus Ex I now know that everything is a conspiracy.

Sorry, just getting into the spirit of the game :p

I'm sorry but I can't hear you all over how awesome Deus Ex: HR is. Trust me I was ready to crucify this game.

1920x1080 and buttery smooth with AA and DX11 on a 6850.
Curse the local post office! I still have to wait for the monday for my physical collectors edition. Guess I'll be doing yet another playthrough of the original Deus Ex to pass time.

I got mine today, haven't played it yet.
The action figure is nifty though.
My good ol' HD4850 doesn't manage to run it without stutter :(, probably because it has only 512 mb vram. Anyway I loved the game, free roam gave me a bit of VtM: Bloodlines taste and I hear the original sountrack of Deus Ex sometimes. What could you want more?!

But according to the title screen this game was sponsored by AMD. :D

Tom's Hardware has performance analysis breakdown of DX:HR. It concludes that the game is bottlenecked by CPU more so than GPU, and that you need a decent current-generation Intel dual core or previous generation triple core or better to keep the frame rates smooth.
Glad to see all my Eruo Peein friends are enjoying the game as much as I am. :)

Really? Then the conspiracy must run far deeper than we thought.

Makes sense as my system didn't slow down at all during the first mission even when I ballsed up the stealth and it was a full firefight, it has started to stutter however in the streets where it's loading a lot of NPC's. I guess my Q6600 can only go so far. One day Old Yeller will have to get a bullet in it's head I guess.
I enjoy games that let me sneak around and feel like a stealthy badass.
Loving every minute of it.
holy crap look at the stats
current 29,662 peak 46,380 for a single player game thats awesome, maybe you 2k and duke nukem forever can learn a thing or two from this :D
go deus ex :D
I have to say the music is a letdown for me. It's too ambient, there is nothing in this game like the UNATCO or Hong Kong themes in the original. What's there is good, like the menu music, but most of the game is ambient. That's how modern games seem to like it though.

Also, just found out there are only two real hubs. That's a bummer. I guess the original only had two real hubs as well, New York and Hong Kong, but Paris was pretty close to being a hub and well... I hoped for more.

I didn't think my Athlon II 2.9 GHz triple core would be the bottleneck. Maybe I should overclock it a bit, since it can go up to 3.6 GHz with ease.
