Not interested in GK2 or the KK series, but CTP2 is kinda interesting... Of course, it's nowhere near "real" Civilization, but it's not as bad a game as many gamers recall.

GOG should add to their offerings more games that have their full source code available! And if theyre gpl much better. : )
Well GOG, You did it again! It's amazing how well you guys listen to the community! At the release of Gabriel Knight Sins of the Fathers I remember reading a lot of messages on the boards from people either suggesting or wondering if GK2 Beast Within was going to be released... Well, Here it is!
After having played through GK for the first time with the release on GOG (Although I've always wanted to play the series, Just never had a PC) This is an Insta-Buy for me. After this It's Space Quest time! Keep the Graphic Adventures coming!
I've been on a bit of an FMV kick lately since Phantasmagoria was re-released here. I'm happy to see this one made it too. I was going to just wishlist it, but with all these positive comments, I think this one's going in the shopping cart instead. :D

xtremis: Awesome!! GOG rules big time! :)
Just a quick question that's been bugging me: do you plan to release the 1+2+3 of both Space Quest and King's Quest? Any particular reason why you didn't included them on the 4+5+6 bundles? :)

And will KQ7 be another purchase all by itself?
I really don't like this splitting up of game collections. I like keeping things bundled - the first three games are maybe 5MB so there's no excuse not to add them except if you want more than $10. At least make the first only $6 then.

I totally agree. I've found that even when I'm not interested in a game at all, there's never a doubt in my mind that someone will be (except, of course, Call to Power II :-P ).
If I had a gripe at all it would be that we still don't have Planescape: Torment, but I don't even have that gripe because I read an interview where they acknowledged the desire for Planescape and System Shock and said that it was something they were working on bringing to the fans.
Contrast that with say, the US Sony Playstation blog where they continue to release PSone classics that no one wanted even when they were cutting edge--and the lack of any dialogue between Sony and their consumers--and you start to love just what places like GoG and Telltale are about. (Yes, I have them in the same category thanks to their love and support of classic games and franchises plus their complete willingness to suck up to their fans).

I don't think they have a choice... the KQ and SQ bundle go for $20 on other websites and there' no way activision will let GOG sell that for $9.99.

Let's be positive... in a recent interview a GoG rep (don't remember who) said they were planing to release some games cheaper than 6$... maybe they are waiting for that to release the KQ & SQ 1,2,3.

He also mentioned a price point above9.99. I think the simplicity of two price points is one of GOG's (many) strong points. They don't need to add any more, just package things in an intelligent way.

Spot on I'd say.
I think that may be coming next month? Which would line up with these releases and their price points. $10 for the three games and $3 for the old ones seems fair to me. I think we're all just spoiled by M&M 6 pack. ;)

I think they'll do the same with the Leisure Suit Larry games with the "talkie" versions PRETTY PLEASE
--->"talkie"<---.
It begs the question about the Police Quest series, will they do the same? I mean look at Phantasmagoria and Gabriel Knight 2 prices. I hope with our support they can bring the Larry games and Phantasmagoria 2.

Yeah but it would be way simpler to just have one package for $15 instead of 2 or 3 selling for different prices. I don't think having a new price point is going to confuse anyone.
I'd love the option to have the original Beast WIthin boxart. It's name was also not Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within, it was The Beast Within: A Gabriel Knight Mystery.
Yep, I'm a nitpicker.
Any chance that King's Quest 6 will be the Windows CD version?
