Add "Devil's landlord" to your résumé!

Unholy Heights, a fun mashup of tower defense and apartment management simulation full of quirky Japanese humor and odd-looking monsters living their little lives to the full, is available on GOG.com, for only $3.99

The Devil has converted a tenement building into monsters-only housing in Unholy Heights, a mashup of Tower Defense and Apartment Management Simulation. Sucker monsters into moving into your building, charge them rent and keep them happy by buying them furniture. Unfortunately, heroes have caught wind of the Devil's plan, and will stop at nothing to wipe him out. Knock on residents' doors to call them to battle, trap heroes in devious pincer formations, and command your troops to victory. Monsters get jobs, fall in love, have children, and even skip out on their rent. Keep them happy or you might not have anyone to fight for you when heroes come knocking.

If you like humor to be a bit on the odd side in your games and you enjoy titles that mix weird cuteness, simulated life, and a bit of strategy, you can't say no to Unholy Heights for only $3.99 on GOG.com.
Is this game going to stay PC-exclusive, or does anyone know if there are plans to port it to the Mac?

vicklemos: soooooooo..

Active Gaming Media has now two cool games on GOG for now: Unholy Heights and La Mulana.
What about One Way Heroics (pretty popular in Japan I heard) and the odd Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae?
Would be awesome to have more jap games on board!
There are a lot of awesome Games on the japanese side from the Playism catalogue. They even offer developers to translate their games and release them on GOG, Desura and *cough* Steam. So theoretically it`s possible to get many of their games here on GOG. However, a lot of their games are rather unknown to many western players. This unfortunately means, if you wishlist them, they often get less votes, even if they are pretty good. I tried to wishlist one of them myself already. If more players would know about these games, they will probably become more popular too.

Active Gaming Media is for sure a pretty cool company. Combining a translation service with a distribution platform, plus support other distributors as well, is actually a great idea. Hopefully they bring the world of Doujin Games a bit closer to us. And if they would work a little bit more together with the GOG guys and benefit from their creative potential as well, probably wonderful things will happen. :D

Nuff said, man.
Great to know there are lotsa people wanting such games here. I'd love to see more and more.
Yep, also true that a lot of these games are quite unfamiliar to us, westerners, but with GOG already providing 2 of these gems I'm quite happy. For now! :P
