Wasn't sure what possibility of The Neverhood coming to GOG, but I've never played the game, I've seen videos of it, and even Skull Monkeys. I'd love to see both come to the service (Though I think Skull Monkeys was only on the Play Station 1).

So, I was just curious if it's possible the first game would ever come out. If anybody has information, please indulge. I figured this was a topic that's been posted before.....

Depends who has the rights to it these days.

Nobody here knows about prospective/upcoming games and GOG won't tell unless or until they are ready to release one. This is a topic that has been posted many times before for just about every game you could think of.

I hear they have the rights to produce an iOS version, but they're still unsure about a PC release.

I would absolutely love a GOG release, though. With a soundtrack and the text from the Hall of Records as bonuses, hopefully.

This website is for games exactly like that. I hope they get it one day. The game is a point and click adventure in a claymation world. The settings are made out of clay. The characters are clay. Everything is clay. It is super immersive and has a great in game soundtrack (although it's not really something you'd listen to outside of the game).

It's great for people with high imaginations.

I hope it will be realeased on GoG! I played I lost my cd disk with Neverhood and I never found it :( I will touch the rainbow when it show up on GoG.

The Neverhood is one of my all time favourites I keep coming back every couple of months to check if there's any news of it. I still have the disc but it would be amazing to get it to work correctly with newer operating systems than win98.

Well, it was published by DreamWorks Interactive, which was bought by EA.

But right might be back to developer.

I'd like to see Neverhood on GOG as a diskless release (regular one requires the disk in the drive, or mounted ISO at least). For those who have hard time playing it - it's playable on Linux under Wine in Win95 compatibility mode.

We all hope that too.

For anyone interested, Neverhood is now playable in ScummVM! (But only in daily builds so far).
