It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Niggles: LOngtime Opera user up til and including 12.x. Customizable. Fast. Low footprint.
Unfortunately the powers that be decided to switch rendering engines :/. Been shit since. Sorry. But thats true.

Trying Palemoon and Slimbrowser (i will use chrome if i have to but firefox is still a bloated piece of crap..has been since 3.x )....
Same here.

Used and absolutely loved Opera for years, until everything changed after 12.x. The new Opera is rubbish in comparison.
I'm clinging on to 12.16 at the moment (mainly due to the fact I love the way it's set up for bookmarks). However I'm starting to run into sites that won't work on it, so I've started using Palemoon and so far I'm very impressed - I find it to be quick and stable.

monkeydelarge: Firefox is shitty, laggy and buggy too but all the other browsers annoy me too much so Firefox is my favorite.
avatar
FoxySage: Not in my experience. It's been pretty good with little to no lag and zero bugs. And i usually run with 200+ tabs in the browser.

I've had a crash now and then with Firefox, but that only happens once in a blue moon.
There are bugs, you just haven't noticed them. And how powerful is your PC? I'm guessing your PC is 100 times better than mine. I'm sure if your PC is good enough, Firefox won't lag because the reason is lags is because it's a very demanding browser.
I have three plus one browsers on my laptop (the plus one use IE as core).
I don't think any of them is my favorite. I use chrome the most, but it getting bigger and bigger and is so annoying.

Still learning to quit chrome and seeking another browser that won't annoying me...
I have tried Firefox, Chrome and Opera, between these 3 great browsers I have chosen Firefox. I did this mostly because Firefox has a few exclusive add-ons. And yes, I do know how great is Chrome and Opera, but I prefer Firefox.
Firefox. I tried Google Chrome a few times (a couple of websites required it) and I didn't like it at all, I suppose it's better than Internet Explorer though. I wouldn't mind trying that Firefox offshoot that I can never remember the name of, but well, the obvious problem is obvious.
Netscape Navigator.

Just kidding ofc :) Firefox is the king and makes Chrome weep.

phaolo: I love Firefox 32, but I wish Mozilla could improve its memory usage.
Also, I'm puzzled about version 33 changes (yahoo, ads).
avatar
moonshineshadow: Huh yahoo, ads? Did I miss something? Of course I might not be seeing that because of addons I use.
Mozilla replaced the Google search box with a Yahoo search box in the US-version of Firefox. It could be that it's only visible in new installations and not in updates as people already chose a search engine in an installed version.

That goes for every program.

The reason Firefox is so demanding is the support for old hardware. Mozilla chooses to support a very wide range of old hardware.
See point 7 of http://www.palemoon.org/technical.shtml#Firefox_Differences

Having moved from Firefox to Pale Moon, I can say I don't suffer crashes anymore (didn't suffer many with FF) and I notice a speed increase.

I read about those changes some days ago, so I'm holding on updating (by the way, I'm always scared by FF updates).
Yahoo will replace Google as the default search (I hope no toolbars and shit), and ads will be shown in the browser inside Mozilla page (only there? I don't even use that).

Ah ok, no wonder I did not notice anything. I updated but everything was normal. But I never visit the Mozilla page :D
Firefox, no questions asked.

If I have to choose between IE and Chrome, I'll go with IE. The latest version are pretty sleek IMO and I consider MS to be the lesser of two evils...
I primarily use Pale Moon, though I have Chromium and Opera (12, because higher aren't released for Linux yet, and later are likely not all that useful due to sharing the Blink engine with Chromium) for checking differences in web dev ideas, or if I for whatever reason want to be logged in to the same site with different accounts.

They also added Duckduckgo as a search choice, that had to be manually added before. A good decision as far as I'm concerned, I still use Pale Moon whenever offered by the package manager though.

What a difference between what the computer educated people and the uneducated average computer user. Firefox is dominating, Chrome a distant second place and IE barely used. The two sides are exact opposite.

You certainly aren't talking about the reality. Firefox should be on Chrome's place.
Firefox, is well made when it comes to archives listing nad management, chrome is a baby first to go, except when it comes to streams and video reproduction with the generally better coding
or any reproduction of videos, out of that firefox beats the shit outta it in most other areas as format and the XHTML usage of previous versions of Adobe
