Perhaps, but as I understand, many developers have overall quibbles with Firefox, even into the insanely high number days where apparently a minor feature calls for ripping off the number and plastering in a new one.

I seriously love the "drag and drop search" function. (highlight a word -> drag and drop it -> a new tab opens with a google search). Same with links, just drag and drop them. I can't live without these.
It also has many other good functions, for example "seperating" videos from webpages. It's much more comfortable to watch a youtube video when working, when the browser is minimised, and only the video is up in it's own window.
The downside is the lack of plugins, but I don't need them anyways.

I've been using Firefox for years, with the interface rearranged to my taste and 4 helpful addons installed: AdBlock Plus, Classic Toolbar Buttons, Classic Theme Restorer and Youtube High Definition. I also use a skin (Persona) to remove all Aero effects and keep a more classic style.

I only use Chrome and IE for web design testing.

Long time firefox user here. But now I'm curious to Pale Moon since tokisto mentioned it.

Pale Moon is a 64 bit implementation of Firefox. Other similar projects exist, such as Waterfox and Cyberfox. I'm not using any of them right now, Firefox will release a non-beta x64 build in a near future, so I'm still waiting... The 32 bit version does exactly what I want.... There's a tread on the Neowin.net forums about them.

Chrome.

Ctrl-W does nothing in Firefox, which annoys me and makes it my backup browser. I use Chrome as primary, but the writing is on the wall for it, since the 64-bit version of Chrome only supports PepperFlash and no way no how am I going to use that.

Flash may be bad, but PepperFlash brings bad to a whole new level. It's the only thing that has managed to bluescreen my computer because its hardware acceleration fucked up.

So when I move to 64-bit browsers, I'll go Firefox as my primary.

It closes the tab, just like on most other browsers. If you are in a flash object though, it doesn't react. Try opening a new tab and pressing ctrl-w, it should close it.

Well, flash objects aren't a problem when I'm in Chrome, so that's going to be less annoying for me.

In theory, Firefox. Has been my browser of choice since I started surfing those Inter-waves, but as for a year now it behaves like shit. So I actually use chrome, both in Linux and Windows.
I would rather use the big F if it behaved nicely though.
