I was hoping this would come to GOG since I first had a blast playing it.
But it is always sad to see DRM-free games with missing features like mapmakers, challenge modes, and multiplayer. It is a very disheartening trend. Even if such features weren't the main focus of the game, I still always want to own the most complete version of my games as possible - and the version we want preserved for the future is of course also the most complete version.

I expect it will be a real pain for culture/game scholars of the future to have to contend with multiple versions of games with different features, and the most accessible and best preserved ones being those with missing features. I guess they'll have to rely on finding footage of those features from Youtube and similar places.

Some preservation is always better than none, I suppose.

Hoping to see more id / Bethesda titles soon, like Rage.
Damn, I was hoping to wait a while before reloading my wallet. Oh well, sometimes you just gotta bite the bullet and do it. See you shortly wallet. =P

The vast majority of "modern" multiplayer modes (and server-dependent stuff) are just destined to disappear, such features weren't made to last and trying to preserve them it's more of a community thing

LiefLayer: -80%?!?!
DOOM 2016!!!!!??!!!
Ok got it.

It took a while but that's one of the reason I still buy games on gog.

I hope we will get Doom Eternal sooner
Took (almost) a decade to get this one. See you in 2030.
Yes! Instabuy!

It's nice to see dreamlist titles slowly making their way here. I doubt my longshot pick will make it (Astlibra Revision), but here's hoping it does.
LET'S GO

Lone_Scout: 2016 and no full body awareness?
No legs, no buy
Legs are overrated sometimes. Ask the QWOP-guy, he can tell you... :)

Swedrami: FLAC and/or WAV versions of the soundtrack would be neat indeed.
Agreed.

Well one of mine (Curse: Eye of Isis) eventually landed here, so anything's possible :)

neat. and with that price it's a grab.
Wonderful news.

Would have bought the soundtrack bundle but it's sadly only MP3, so just bought the base game. Appears Qobuz.com sells it in FLAC so it is officially available losslessly elsewhere at least.
