There are some threads about the new design, but no real collection of bugs or improvement proposals so that the developers have a list what they might change or fix.

Here are my wishes, feel free to report other bugs or proposals and I add them to the list.

Legend
o --> normal entry
oo --> entry recently added or changed

(*) at end --> important topic for many users
(**) at end --> very important topic for many users
(***) at end --> extreme important topic for many users
according to my judgement of the forum posts

Bugs:
own game collection
oo Number of owned games displayed in menu is one less than number in collection
Misc
o Every login or logout quits actual page and leads to GOG main page, no matter whether you are on shop or forum pages (***) SUPPORT TICKET WRITTEN
o Search function is broken. If you enter a character in search field it disappears instantly. Only works if you press minimum 2 characters very fast. FIXED
Gamelist
o sort by "oldest first" does not work (First entry is Hitman 2 October 1, 2002) (*) SUPPORT TICKET WRITTEN
o sort by "newest first" does not work (First entry is EARTHLOCK March 8, 2018) (*)
o If you display all games ("everything"), and go to a higher page on this list (maybe page 5), and now you change from "everything" to "new releases" "upcoming" or "sale" nothing is displayed, your only chance is to change the page number to 1 in the url.
User reviews
o approvement ratings for reviews are broken FIXED
o overall ratings broken. Example: Metronomicon no reviews yet, but overall rating 4,8 (**) SUPPORT TICKET WRITTEN
o overall ratings broken: Example: La Mulana displays 4,5 but should be (5+3+1+3+3+2+5)/7 = 3,14 (**)
o Some reviews disappeared (**) SUPPORT TICKET WRITTEN
Example: Review of game "Perception" by amurgaming:
- Aug 26 2018
- Today
Galaxy
o page back button does work on gog galaxy

Improvement proposals:
Misc
o bring back GOG mixes (***)
o improve page loading performance (***)
o disable video autoplay (***)
o Browser compatibility: fix page to work with IE11
GOG Frontpage
o Deal of the day at easy to find position and show start and end date (***)
o Mark game tile as deal of the day, mark game on it's game page as deal of the day (***)
o Weekly sale at easy to find position and show duration (**)
o easy to find and click promo page, like https://www.gog.com/promo/20181008_weekly_sale
o first large tile in the "Now on sale" section to promote the weekly sale
o Typeface: reduce it a bit, currently it's too much "in your face"
o Slider controls: visually they're too thin, even if the clickable area is bigger it gives the sensation of needing to be too precise for an action that doesn't require that effort. Also, on bright backgrounds, they're not visible.
o Remove trailers on hover: Although this feature seems usable from a user standpoint, most trailers (let's be honest) don't show gameplay or take too long to show any of it. It also adds unnecessary processing to our browsers.
o make frontpage also working with javascript disabled
Curated Section
o redesign curated section to fit page style (**)
o The background images are too obscured by really dull colors.
o Curated collections by media outlets during big sales are much more appealing and interesting than these ones.
o make it smaller to get space for more important other information.
News
o Take News to the top position (***)
o or switch the "News" and "Curated collections" sections.
o Show the news in list form, and with exact date (10 Oct 2018) instead of "3 days ago". So it's much easier to check which news you have already seen at last visit (**)
o Provide a list with all news, not only recent ones, to be able to look around in older news (**)
o The slider is unnecessary and obscures the information you're trying to deliver.
o Dont generate news with javascript after page loading, generate it instantly server side.
Gamepage
o less intrusive "buy" button (**)
o less intrusive top picture/video on gamepage (**)
oo direct link to gameforum on the gamepage (*) <-- This is my personal (*****) wish, its so easy to do, and fills the deserted forums. More user to help how to get a game running, more information and exchange. Only advantages, no costs, GOG doooooo it! FIXED YEAHH
User reviews
o edit and delete reviews
o restore line/paragraph breaks for reviews
Gamelist
o game lists also in text form / list view (***) FIXED
o sort by price/discount (**)
o filter gamelists for full game / DLC / soundtrack etc. (**)
o mark DLCs and extras when browsing game tiles (**)
o re-establish company filter (*)
o The title of the game should be visible without hovering. Otherwise same game shows many similiar pictures (for game, for dlc, for sundtrack ...) EXAMPLE: Kingdom Come Deliverance, see kcd1.jpg (***)
o change name of dropdown list from "all games" to "all genres" to know that this is the genre filter
o Disable the hover effect: it's really unnecessary, users already know where they're clicking or tapping and there's no point in highlighting it; doesn't add any new information.
o Disable youtube video show effect: it's useless, most of the videos don't show any relevant information before I'm tired of waiting; adds unnecessary sluggishness; can't control the video playback.
o "add to cart" button maybe faster loading as SVG?
o last row in gamelist page (50 games per page) always has a gap of 1 or 2 games, even if there are more pages. 48 games per page are better (fits 3 or 4 columns) 60 even much better (fits 3,4,5,6,10,12 columns) and is a round number FIXED
(*) SUPPORT TICKET WRITTEN
o Show all gamefilters which are available (*)
There are only some main filters offered (Roleplaying, Simulation, ...) but in fact there are much more. So no one knows about it, no one will find and eventually buy his favourite game type.
This list from the great MagGog Database:
action adventure arcade building chess combat comedy detective-mystery economic educational espionage exploration fantasy fighting fpp (first person perspective) historical horror jrpg (japanese role playing game) managerial metroidvania modern mystery narrative naval off-road open world pinball platformer point-and-click puzzle racing rally real-time roguelike role-playing sandbox sci-fi shooter simulation soccer sports stealth strategy survival tactical team sport touring tpp (third person perspective) turn-based virtual life visual novel
So you can search for all game types you want like Third Person Games:
https://www.gog.com/games?sort=title&page=1&search=tpp
or whatever. This is much more pleasant and determined search than only "adventure" "roleplaying" ,...
Galaxy
o No preloading of movies on the front page (waste of bandwidth and time)

Browsing and shopping on the shop's website should be possible also on a mobile even if you need an x86 type of processor, or emulator, to play. I had a quick look from my mobile today and half the things were missing.

Added it to the list. Can you tell what was missing?
I can't see the company filter in the catalogue anymore. I found it useful.
+1 for the constructive approach.
Add option to opt out to old design
Actually, what should have been is let people opt in to the new deisgn and get feedback. yuo know, like beta stage

Caesar.: I can't see the company filter in the catalogue anymore. I found it useful.
It still works if you click on a company name in some game card. Otherwise you can also enter the company name in the search field.

Good to know!

I will still miss having the whole list of companies in alphabetical order though.

I too hope it's coming back some day. Can't be that hard to implement some Autocompletebox.
Improvement proposals:
- easy to find and click promo page, like https://www.gog.com/promo/20181008_weekly_sale
Improvement proposals:

I would like to switch the "News" and "Curated collections" sections.

Redesign the "Curated collections" section. The style doesn't fit the rest of web site. To me it's a bit of an eyesore.

Use the first large tile in the "Now on sale" section to promote the weekly sale.

Thanks for all proposals I added all to the list and another one from me:
change name of dropdown list "all games" to "all genres" to know that this is the genre filter
Finally, a constructive thread about the redesign.

I'd like to have the reviews above the "more like this" and "buy this series" section.

Anything else I can think of is just a matter of preference in terms of visual design.

I had a similar idea a few days ago seeing the post spam, I'm glad somebody made it happen. Here's my take:

Home

1. Hero:
· Typeface: reduce it a bit, currently it's too much "in your face".
· Slider controls: visually they're too thin, even if the clickable area is bigger it gives the sensation of needing to be too precise for an action that doesn't require that effort. Also, on bright backgrounds, they're not visible.
· Trailers on hover: Although this feature seems usable from a user standpoint, most trailers (let's be honest) don't show gameplay or take too long to show any of it. It also adds unnecessary processing to our browsers.

2. Game cards:
· Disable the hover effect: it's really unnecessary, users already know where they're clicking or tapping and there's no point in highlighting it; doesn't add any new information.
· Disable youtube video show effect: it's useless, most of the videos don't show any relevant information before I'm tired of waiting; adds unnecessary sluggishness; can't control the video playback.
· The title of the game should be visible without hovering.
· If GOG wants to keep the "add to cart" button they should transfer this behavior to the price and not add an unnecessary icon on hover. Also, I wonder if making this an .svg helps with load times :S

3. Now on sale:
· This worked much better as a list, it's more efficient and usable and user-friendly. Adding a slider makes it look fancier but doesn't make it more appealing (most of the deals are not visible!).

4. Curated collections:
· The visual style doesn't fit with anything else on the page.
· The background images are too obscured by really dull colors.
· I bet nobody is clicking these.
· Curated collections by media outlets during big sales are much more appealing and interesting than these ones.
· The idea of a shortcut to a filtered game list is nice but at its current state, it feels like it's taking space from other relevant sections.

5. News
· The slider is unnecessary and obscures the information you're trying to deliver.
· These are news, organizing them around big images doesn't work here. Also, most of the images don't show anything relevant.
· The old column organization was clearer and more informative.

contra_cultura: · The title of the game should be visible without hovering.
If you browse the game alphabetically, the first game, 140, is listed twice at the same price. One is the game, the other the soundtrack. You'll also note that 2064 is listed twice. One it the regular game, the other the deluxe version.

improvement proposals:
I'd also like to suggest that DLC and extras be marked as such when browsing games.

Ability to filter out DLC/extras when browsing games.

Ability to browse games in list view.
