Thanks for this very comprehensive and constructive list. I’ve been struck by the ‘review helpfulness’ bug as well. :(
I just opened the "list" of games on sale (via top menu "Store" -> "On sale now" -> "Browse all games on sale now").

It returned to me three pages of games. The last game in the list (Enigmatis: The ghost of Maple Creek) is NOT on sale.

It also does not list the new Weekly Sale games, and has never listed the Daily Sale (while on sale) as far as I've seen. Enigmatis was an old Daily Sale game from a few days ago but was not in that list while on sale (at the time I checked).

Anamon: It would also be nice if the news were actually sorted by date.

I liked to read the news articles starting from the newest one, until I hit the first one I had already read on my last visit, to keep up to date. I have no idea what order news articles are supposed to be in with the new slider design, but it's certainly not chronological, nor any other discernible, sensible order.
I checked the news, the sort order seems ok at the moment. But the description (54 minutes ago, 2 days ago, ...) is not very helpful if you want check until the first one you have already read at last visit.
So I added proposal to show the news in list form again.

Recently added proposals are now marked with two oo instead of one o to find them faster. And I dont think the forum supports colors.

I'm surprised that they could do such a blunder. It doesn't fill me with confidence regarding their webdev team. They apparently hard-coded that game at the end of the list. An offer that was bound to last for 24 hours. That is wrong in so many levels!

This new design is so broken that it's becoming hilarious.

Edit: New search now, and Enigmatis is not listed as a sale anymore. Also now there are four pages of deals so they probably recompiled the list as the weekly sale started. Or maybe they were reading this thread and reacted after seeing my previous post.

Maxvorstadt: Seems, as if the new language selection for the reviews deleted reviews that were not in english. For example, I can`t find my review for Hammerwatch any more, it was written in German.
There are also english reviews missing. Look here for disappeared review of amurgaming. Seems to be a bigger disappearance of reviews.

surfersurfer: Did anyone experience the bug that every login or logout quits the actual page and leads to the main gog page? No matter whether you are on a shop or a forums page.

Makes the issues of the new front page even more insufferable, doesn't it?

1) privacy & settings --> account and locale -> locale
2) or direct in your account menu: language & currency

Which way did you use?
if you use second way did you also press "apply changes"?

PaterAlf: I changed it a long time ago in the "privacy and settings" section and it still shows the correct settings there. And yet the language is wrong every time I log in.

I can also see the right settings in th account menu (never realized that it was there as well). But I don't see an apply changes button.
The button only appears if you really change something.
You said you have to change language manually back to english after every login. Do you do this also at "privacy and settings" section?

john_hatcher: I scrolled and scrolled and scrolled and (you get it, don‘t you?) ... to the bottom of the main page and first changed the language and after the automatic reload changed the currency. Since 5en it has not changed back and stayed with english/usd.
Fyi I never log out of GOG on my iPad and since I might need to solve Google Recaptchas I don‘t want to try that now.
Ah ok this is a third way to change the language. I have never realized these fields at the bottom. This seems to be the only method to change the language if you are not logged in. You say it stays now at english/usd, and what combination do you really want to have?

Today it worked again and I got the correct settings. So either it was fixed or it might be a bug unrelated to the new design.
I just read that:
Please keep in mind that the GOG support staff does not frequent the forum and cannot usually help you if you post in the forums. If you would like to contact our support directly or if people from the forum are unable to help you solve your issue, please open a ticket.

Nevertheless I hope that some of the GOG staff reads the forum and deals with the user wishes, especially concerning new page design.

For some bugs which annoy me most I opened support tickets
- login and logout everytimes leaves current page and leads to main page
- sort order by newest first" or "oldest first" in game list is broken
- character in search field disappears
I let you know of the status and progress of GOG concerning these tickets.

Englsih/usd is the combination I like to have and at the moment it still is the one displayed.
Hope it will stay this way till I change it.

I did not get an answer, but the the disappearing character in search field was fixed one hour after I opened the ticket. So I closed this ticket now.

Don't worry. Linko posted this a few days ago on the discord

"If you can add it to that larger thread on the forums it’ll be taken down as feedback, discord it’ll just face away into the nether mysterious music plays"

So I am pretty sure we simply need to make GOG aware of this thread and they will regard it as feedback chanel. Since this thread is just informative instead of full of ranting I am pretty sure they will take the opportunity to get a pretty good summary of community feedback including bug reports with this thread to make the web site better.

Suggestion to the game/store list: show 48 items per page instead of 50.

Reasoning: The grid layout works in 2, 3 or 4 column modes, and as 50 is not divisible by 3 or 4, every page looks like the last page, with tiles missing. 48 would make sure the grid always ends with a full row. Basic common sense, really. Or am I the only one bothered by this? :)

Or even better... give us the fraking list view back, WITH text titles! Looking at the current design, I wouldn't be surprised if they'd give us a list view with the title image stretched across the screen...
Daily Deals need to get timers on their tiles or on the game page. Currently its impossible to know how long the daily deals will run, when they started and when they will end. Plus its not really clear if they are daily deals or special promos that can take up to several days.

There needs to be an option to change from tiles to list view for now on sale tiles. Cause the tile loading is so slow and the game pictures don't give me any data eitherway.
