It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Just done a quick experiment, and it doesn't seem to be compatible with standard DOSbox. If anyone can prove me wrong, I'll be happy, but it doesn't look like running it on Android via DOSbox Turbo is going to work.

nijuu: Whats with the "Thank you mocagh.org!.url" stuff in some of the extra archives ?
It's probably where they got the copies of the reference card, survival guide, etc. from.

Well, they're not included in the Steam version, so I'd assume GOG.

gbaz69: Wow 20+ year old game. Possible offered for free next year some time ;D.

WL2 is looking pretty decent. Hope its really good. We'll have to wait till 2015 I heard.
I'm pretty sure its out next year. Torment (And Project Eternity I think) are the games that aren't going to show up till 2015.
Nice extras!

I guess this is the first game I have received from my many kickstarters...

Edit: And a mac version too. How nice!

Gyrocoptor: Just a heads-up, the Steam version does not include the GOG extras. Hopefully they'll be added later. The Steam version is DRM-free, you can run the game without Steam running once it's downloaded.
Steam version now also includes these extras. They can be found under Steam\SteamApps\common\Wasteland\Extras

Booo. Why'd you have to go and do that.
Got the GOG version obviously. I wonder if my previous saved games work on this new remastered version haha. Gonna give it a try.

Cool, thanks for the notification.

Because this is a thread about Wasteland and I personally think everybody should be able to receive the same product and content no matter where they purchase.
The notification emails seem to be going out, mine just arrived 5 minutes ago. So, if you haven't already logged into the ranger center to claim yours, nows the time.

For those that forgot your username or your email, the original email where they ask you to register at their website includes a link that will help you reset your password without both of those bits of information.

That doesn't seem to apply to a raft of games on certain services which have certain extras GOG isn't able to supply to customers here (so i see no problem if GOG has exclusives). But i digress ..off topic
I had a brief moment to play, but unfortunately, this game doesn't appear to be a DOSBox version, so no playing on my Pandora. But, it does appear to work in Crossover, so Wine should also work.

I asked about getting the original version on the comment to the update, but I'm not sure if they'll grant permission to download an original copy. Or how well it will work in DOSBox if they do grant permission.
It looks like it's an integrated DOSbox with the original files so that they could seamlessly have the upscaling and the new portraits and sound additions. One of the menu options includes a readme which has a link to the modified DOSbox source and the DOSbox license. It's similar to how they packaged an Apple II emulator into Bard's Tale so you could play the first three games and had a little GUI for doing disk swapping, rather than needing to know specific commands for the emulator.
