Today, developers CD PROJEKT RED released a brand new video showcasing a 37-minute long walkthrough from the game's first act. There's a healthy amount of story, exploration, and turn-based card battle combat for you to enjoy, all with commentary by Paweł Burza (Community Manager), who provides valuable insight into the world of Thronebreaker.

This is looking much better than I ever imagined back when it was announced. Looks like I'll be enjoying a nice genre mix.
looks pretty cool gog, will likely pick this up with project warlock.

i_hope_you_rot: Hmm . Thronebreaker .

Never heard of it .
Isn't it the term for a dump so heavy you worry you might have cracked the pan?
So, basically "Etherlords without 3D". Meh...

Do you know what I really expect from CDPR?
I want you to buy the IP “Vampire: the Masquerade - Bloodlines”, hired the guys from (ex-)“Troika Games” (the backbone of: scriptwriters, designers, etc. - those who were responsible for the art (in a broad sense) part. CDPR can do the technical work. So... Hire them (or at least in the role of consultants) and make a new game in "World of Darkness" universe. Probably not a direct sequel with the same protagonist, but a logical continuation of the story. May be also involve Christof from VtM Redemption as a side character and, of course, taxi driver from VtMB (in the sense of little bit combining both stories). Something with name like "Vampire: the Masquerade - Retribution” or something like that.

Than shut up and take my money. We will buy it without any AD on every page (like you do with Thronebreaker).

Andrey82: Well, I really like Thronebreaker style and gameplay. But there is one thing that bothers me: system requirements. They are quite high for a game with sprites and one-screen 3D battlefield. Is it Unity engine again or this game's optimization isn't that good at the moment? Or they just higher than real system requirements as in sometimes happen with games?
They gotta make sure you qualify for the Online Gwent SOMEHOW.

Not a RPG

groze: "A bit more than usual" is kind of euphemistic, whenever I checkout while buying a game there's that banner telling me to buy Thronebreaker. It's intrusive and annoying. Plus, I assume the people who are interested in the game already look for 37 minute gameplay videos on Youtube, what's the point in making an official news thread about it?
I'm interested in the game and knew nothing of the video.

grovernors: Not a RPG
It is an RPG (Role Playing Game), i think what you mean is it's not a Hack&Slash. You role play as Meve, a war-veteran queen.
I am looking forward to the story elements and how the world is built, but the battle system really puts me off. I dislike Gwent a lot and never played it. Pass for me.
Guess I'll have to install The Witcher 3 again if I want to play some (single player) Gwent, Thronebreaker just isn't my cup of tea. :(

Story mode allows you to play the game without the need for Gwent-battles.
What's with all the hate in the thread? The graphics are low-resource, but effective. The gameplay is dialogue-heavy, probably laden with choices & consequences, and Gwent seems competently applied to single-player format. I'll definitely consider buying this game, but first I'll wait for some reviews and information about game length.

So how many Gog employee are working on this game instead of fixing the website / forum , adding more old titles to the catalog , quality testing the games before their release date or negotiating better deals with the publishers ?

How many GOG employees? None. GOG doesn't make games, it sells them.

Ah, another post in which you ignore facts to have a rant. I'm going to ask you one last time to refrain from your constant baiting and ignoring of common sense in order to have a little rant. It's tiresome, dull and unproductive.
