Lemon_Curry: Well, Darrell seems pretty competent.
Those subtitles are some strange dialect of Danish.

Yeah, our Swedish subjects never did get the hang of it. ;D

Random_Coffee: Free games is always nice, thanks! I'm more of a FPS-man myself though, so.. is Stranger's Wrath worth a grab?
avatar
ToxicKookie: Most definitely. For an FPS-man like yourself I think you'll ejoy it.
Sounds good. Don't get me wrong, I'll try the freebie too of course, with a open mind, but I'm not big on 2D platformers.

One_of_Many: And time to (almost) complete my collection of Wadjet Eye games with the Blackwell Bundle. So far I've enjoyed all of them.
avatar
Vythonaut: Blackwell is one of their best in my opinion; you'll definitely have a ton of fun playing it. ;)
ps: don't forget to buy Epiphany too if you haven't done already, since it is the *epic* conclusion of the story.
Completely agree. I still remember this great conclusion. Just great.
Well, being a relatively new user I for one appreciate any free game that grows my collection. I have not had the chance to play many games until recently and Oddworld is something I have never experienced and will now get too.

So thank you for the freebie GOG!

One_of_Many: Thanks, got that too. So, from the page description of the Bundle, the order is: Legacy, Unbound, Convergence, Deception and then Epiphany. Right?

The order in my collection is just alphabetical and it doesn't seem that I can change it anymore.
You actually can with this and yes, the order is correct.
And I can't get it :( when I click "get for free" on main website it goes to game website and when i press get it here it goes back to home page and it's in a loop. Any hints or help? :(

Try a forced refresh (CTRL+F5), and if that doesn't work, maybe try a different browser. It worked fine for me on Chrome. Of course, it may be just a glitch as well.
So what's the BIG SURPRISE for those who visited GOG.com on Tuesday?

Yep, that's correct & you can expect about 2 hours of gameplay for each of the first four episodes and 6-7 hours for the Epiphany. Cheers!

You can still get it - it's a free copy of one of the old Oddworld games (I guess it just turned 30 today). Look at the top of the front page when you first load the site - you'll see a banner you can click to get the game.

I'm surprised GoG didn't do more to promote its 30th birthday - might have placated a few of the people upset - as it is it seemed like a random freebie but people knowing it was being given away to celebrate 30 years of a fairly seminal franchise might have made a couple feel better about not being given 1/3 of GoG's catalogue or something.

Make that 20th.
GIFs are turning 30.
Awesome thanks for Oddworld already had it on Steam but why not here too? Great game!
Just realized that Oddworld was game #100 for me here.

Guess it's not too bad.
