wanderer_27: Ninja'd

While I'm here though:

There are three Age of Wonders 3 games :

Age of Wonders 3
Age of Wonders 3 - Golden Reams
Age of Wonders 3 Deluxe Edition

Does the Deluxe Edition contain the first two on the list, or are all three different games?
avatar
wonderfulillusion: The Deluxe Edition includes the base game, Dragon’s Throne standalone scenario, and two soundtracks. It does not include the content from the Golden Realms DLC.

aintfraidofnoghost: Yo, it's been Tuesday here (Australia) for more than 8 hours and no sign on the website of a special something to be seen. What's up with that?
avatar
wonderfulillusion: Most likely has to be Tuesday in GOG's timezone.
Thanks . . . I just noticed there is yet another Age of Wonders 3 game variant :/

As for the Tuesday announcement, I would guess it would be 24 Hr from the kick off of this sale, so roughly 15 hours from the time of this posting.

MarkoH01: -So other than tomorrow's "something", again no change in the deals available all the way to the end?
-So this time the offers will stay for a week? Unchanged? :P
-EDIT: Does the wishlist notification only work for regular/individual sales? Not that I mind, just curious.

So while the last question is just a "out of curiosity" question the first and second are questions that are important regarding the sale and to be honest I am also not sure what the answer to those is. If I am looking at the front page it says "Weeklong Sales" without being a tab to chose so that would mean that ALL deals are weeklong and so there won't be any changes. However I am just guessing here and a quick statement on this would help people who are afraid that they might miss a deal.
Since this is not the usual weeklong sale, which gets updated on Fridays, the offer will remain like it is for the whole week. Although, you can never be sure if we won't add something for the weekend, but if we do we will let you all know about it ;)

Wishlist notifications should work for all sales. If it haven't worked for you this time we'd nee to investigate it.

MarkoH01: Please remove all those " record low " signs from the front page . Many of those games were already cheaper in elsewhere .

Even though in this case I am quite sure that in this case the record low price means that it is a record on GOG and not "elsewhere".
The record low is for all legit digital distribution services, i.e. we haven't taken marketplaces into account for that.

MarkoH01: While this may well be the case, they popped up while I was browsing the new sales. I can live with an occasional glitch, but such glitches wouldn't result in effective misinformation if two very simple things were done: (1) add a timer on the pages of discounted items to indicate when their discount expires, and (2) clearly identify the promotion(s) to which the game is associated. The latter is extremely important when different promotions result in different discounts -- such as when discounts scale with how many items you get from the specific promotion -- or when sales overlap. In UI design, this is known as "the principle of least astonishment".
The timer is always visible on the sale page, but the idea of adding one on game page is something I'll ask our dev team to look into. As for identifying the promotions, we are doing it in the newsposts and on the sale's pages. Frankly, it's one of the first times that I encounter that someone mixed the sales on GOG and missed some discounts. But yes, we can always improve some things. Thanks!

Now that I think on it, this is almost certainly correct. I believe it's already Tuesday in Warsaw, so my earlier post doesn't make much sense in that regard.

It's just past midnight here, so you need to wait just a little bit more.

Where is "here" exactly?

Apologies, I missed this earlier. Eternal Lords is a second DLC, and is not included with any of the other game versions.

Oops, not a standalone DLC. It requires the base game.

See, I'm not the only confused on what they did with this game :D
Please let it be old EA games

Random_Coffee: Nice sale! Already grabbed the Necrodancer Amplified DLC for $2! Anyone here played any of these?

-Rogue Legacy (I love me some roguelikes!)
I dislike roguelikes almost universally, but the unlock system in this one kept my interest for unhealthy amount of hours.

avatar
Random_Coffee: -Bionic Dues (moar roguelikes)
-Trine (I already have the second game, does it make the first one completely obsolete?)
I think that the first game is somewhat better. I have already forgotten what the second is about (I seem to remember one level inside big fish, but no idea how the trio got there, or anything after), all the while I still remember main points of the story and some puzzles from the first one. Better music too (in my opinion) - I can put "Throne of The Lost King" track on a loop and listen to it for several hours while working without it getting old. No such gem in OST for Trine 2, it's just "nice". Since it was upgraded to the II engine (called Enchanted edition), the graphics quality is the same in both (which means pretty good).

Random_Coffee: -Pixeljunk Shooter (I've played shittons of Pixeljunk Monsters, which isn't the same style of game of course. Is this any good as a co-op sidescrolling shooter though?)

+1
Maybe we'll see the Bioshock series?
nice
I hope the surprise is the Mass Effect games, free of Origin.

KasperHviid: I can recommend Nex Machina -- but only if you're a Galaxy user. The high score and visual upgrades are locked to your Gog account.

Her Story is pretty good, but my mind got distracted and I forgot about it when I was in the middle of deciding on the most efficient way to take notes.

Personally, I'm gonna get me some Slain which I missed at last sale.
What's this? Think I've missed something.
