Bookwyrm627: My avatar has suddenly started changing! :O
Fix for that was delivered recently by our team.

Bookwyrm627: I know; I was making a joke to that effect. ;)

Thanks for the fixing that, btw! Jokes aside, I am happy to see it done.

Edit: Oh good grief. Ninja'd twice within the three minutes since this was posted!
Just wanted to state that it didn't repair itself by accident. ;)

moonshineshadow: Anyone else having the problem that they can't open page 4 of their order history? Other pages works fine but when I want to go to page 4 it says "No results found".
Please check if it works for you now.
Hi people,

Could you please check if the orders history is working for you? I think it should be fixed now.

HypersomniacLive: I got that most annoying "I'm not a robot" captcha today at my very first login.
Is this a deliberate change? If yes, why?

You sure make it more and more annoying to visit this place...
It's been here since last year if you are referring to the reCaptcha https://www.gog.com/forum/general/i_hate_this_new_recaptcha_with_pictures/post4

adaliabooks: On the plus side, at least chat's not broken in yet another way...

But on the other hand it looks like Gwent may be yet another thing to break various Gog features... :/
avatar
HypersomniacLive: And even for those not partaking in the beta!
It's not a Gwent bug then, but chat + invite system. :) You received a game invite. We'll check if everything works correctly there.

edit: it turned out to be a issue connected to the promo... Notification counters may have some cache. :) But we'll improve it.

Our team did a fix for persistent/phantom chat notification, please check if it goes away:
- Go to chat page with the wrong notification only (read all unread that you see and go to chat again basically)
- Go to any GOG page

drinnen: Does anybody know why gog.com needs rollbar.com when loaded in palemoon, but works fine without it in firefox and seamonkey?
Had this trouble for a couple of weeks now.
Could you refresh the page with console opened and paste errors here? :)

drinnen: OK the console had a big red cross next to this browser does not support local storage. It seems my default setting of cookies only as first party no longer works for the dynamic parts of GOG's website. I allow GOG cookies for the session it now works and no longer tries to load javascript from rollbar.com.
It's not cookies, it's localStorage. The thing you use to configure the cookies enables/disables localStorage too. Lack of localStorage is breaking GOG.com javascript at the moment.

Zjeraar: Not sure if the following issue is mentioned before, but a quick search says it's not:

When you try to replace the current page number from the page number box below someone's wishlist in order to jump to a specific page of that wishlist, the current page number reappears within a second or so.

Noticed this in both IE and Chrome.
I can confirm this issue, it's not browser-related. :) I've passed the information further, thank you for report!

HypersomniacLive: Some of the game pages, like the one of Afterlife and that of the newly added Ignition, seem to misbehave today - when I try to close them, I get the attached message.

Anyone else? I'm on the latest stable Firefox.
Can you try running your browser in safe mode without any extensions, scripts or plug-ins active? I see you have some script active in your screenshot, hence my asking :)

HypersomniacLive: I can and will, but it's interesting that it's not happening with every game page.
I am not sure what's going on then. All I know is that I have visited the Ignition page with Firefox 50.1.0 just now in a separate tab and then closed the tab and nothing like that showed up.

HiasX: I don't blame NoScript directly, but disabling 3rd party scripts can and mostly will have an impact on site behavior.

I'm no web developer myself, so the following can be utter nonsense.
But as far as I understand, the GoG script waits for the youtube api to initialize (what never happens if youtube scripts are disabled) and also registers a function to intercept the page close event that can be the reason for this very message. [...]
avatar
HypersomniacLive: I'm no web-dev either, but I still doubt that any youtube scripts being disabled have anything to do with this bug - as I said, I was getting the message even with them enabled, and on game pages that it shouldn't matter as there are no videos, plus, just a few days ago, I was not getting any such message with them disabled.

HiasX: I[...] If nothing helps, this setting worked for me as well:

HypersomniacLive: Cheers, I found this one while searching for an explanation/fix, and it sure did the trick.

eiii: I get this message on every game card, but only when I do something on the page before I close it. Scrolling down a bit or selecting another screenshot of the game already is enough to trigger the message. When I do nothing on the game card before I close it the message does not appear.

Edit: Even clicking some link on the game card (to open it in another tab or window) already is enough to get this message on close. Is this some (broken) mechanism to track user actions?
avatar
HypersomniacLive: I doubt it's related to tracking, I was getting the message even without doing anything on the game page.

Just follow the instructions given in the link provided by HiasX a couple of posts above; GOG will still be broken, but at least it won't hassle you anymore.
This message on closing seems to be a bug, we have some details about it. Sorry for the problems you're having!

HypersomniacLive: Yep, you show as being offline. My guess is that it's either a glitch, or chat has officially moved to showing online only those running GOG Galaxy (a few that are not logged in here right now show as online).
avatar
adaliabooks: Yep... just did a test and this does seem to be the case... :/
avatar
Johny.: *poke*
avatar
adaliabooks: Is the Galaxy online / offline thing a bug or something intentional?
No, you should be online if you visited GOG.com website. Unfortunately we can't check this on the weekend. :(
