jamyskis: You don't get the full game when it's finished, you only get future alpha builds. As soon as the games enter beta or release, you have to pay again.
I think it's just bad wording on the website.
This is their twitter response to similar concerns:

With the Alpha Collection, you get free updates and the full games when they are completed.

ABH20: That's why it's called the Alpha Collection, you're paying money now to help with development costs and will get the full game when it's released.

Where have you even got this idea from? o.0

That Towns sure sounds interesting. Not interested in alpha version though.

Was this a joke?

Was interested bu I wont give 4 Euros to show support. I would do 2 to help tham but 4 for games I wont even install is too much for me.

No, it was meant literally.

I quote: "Instant access to alpha. Download access to all current/future alpha builds."

Nowhere does it say that you get the full game at the end.
when AND if ;)
...as you are not getting guarantee these games will ever be completed :P

They said it on Twitter, you get the full game.

Uchos pointed that out

Ah. I don't use Twitter, so I didn't see that.

Remains to be seen if the games are ever finished though. So many of these pay-to-develop games end up staying incomplete (Dejobaan Games anyone?)
Wyv and Keep looks great - I'd say that's the one that caught my eye. I don't know if I'd get stuck into 3079 but it certainly looks interesting. Towns is probably decent but it's isn't my sort of game. All-in-all it seems worth buying.
3079 seems pretty good, though the demo I tried playing was horrible (barely showed anything). Not sure it's worth paying around $5 for that seeing as it may not even get finished.

Phr00t is a really dedicated developer. I've been tracking his progress since the ASCII 3059 game - that guy is a machine.

I'll keep that in mind.

Unrelated, I was browsing the Steamgifts thread about this bundle. There are people who are saying they wont buy this because it is not on Steam. Ugh.
Still have yet to buy an Indie Royale bundle... won't be getting it this time, either. Only one game interests me and I'm sure it's at least a year away from release.
i do not like this bundle. :(
