downloadmunkey: If I'm only interested in single player, can I safely assume that Towns is gonna be the only game in the bundle that I can play?

From my Googling, 3079 seems to be multilayer and Wyv and Keep seems to be mainly for co-op.
3079 can be played in single player as well, and I'm told that you can pretty easily control both characters in Wyv and Keep.
Had a look at the games got to saw nothing jumped out at me to buy. I do like the idea of helping developers with some extra fund but forcing you to pay at certain levels is a bit off putting.
Purchased
I am actually pleasantly surprised by 3079 so far. To me it almost plays like an open-world Doom with RPG elements. It is very crude still though. It is the only game from the bundle I have played yet, (except opening up Towns once and getting very confused). It has some promise.

The only problem is that I keep dying and not being able to kill anything.... but that's generally a trend when I play anyway.
Purchased this earlier and tried out 3079. I like it, but it's rather confusing at the start.

I do hope those models get replaced. The blocky cube people charm only lasts for so long.
Was kind of interested in Towns, but it seems like it's just a watered-down Dwarf Fortress.

3079 looks like it has potential though.

Well, the original concept, AFAIR, was Settlers meet Majesty, so go figure :)

Yeah, Majesty but with a persistent town looks to tbe gift of it. Loved the Majesty games so going to give this a spin.

The whole discover items and sell them to your adventurers reminds me of Recettear a bit too.

$5 is pricey for 3 alphas,

I'd say $3 for 3 alphas would be much better, but greed is in the way of the indie royale people... they always set the minimum higher than other bundles out there.
Considering that the all the alphas together would cost 30 dollars at retail, 5 dollars is not pricey at all.

...if they ever make it to retail.

Heh, the other day I looked the word "cheapskate" in a dictionary, and guess whose photo I've seen there?

In what crazy world $2 per game is expensive?..

TBH, I skipped this bundle myself, but only since I already had Towns and 3079 bought full-price... And they were worth every dime.

No, they currently cost $30 at retail. If you waited until they were released, it would be closer to $50.
FTR 3079 is already completable. The "Alpha" status just means that there's going to be a lot of feature creep before it's marked as "Released".
Hmm, I bought this for $5.01 and don't feel cheated at all. I like 3079 okay (although it runs poorly on my machine, a little more demanding on my video card than Minecraft is, actually) and I love Towns. I can't even remember what the other game was. -.-
