When I first joined the forum, it was just that - a forum. A place, where I can find some news and ways to solve my gaming problems. It took less than one hour for me to realise that I am in an open community, sharing what little or much everyone has, caring for each other, willing to help. It was too new for me and I was stunned.

In a few days I experienced even more. I traded games, participated in giveaways (our Pope, xckx, never ceases to surprise me), even got my [url=http://www.gogwiki.com/wiki/User:Dessimu]GOG wiki page[/url] (thank you, Barefoot_Monkey). And I found it pleasant to just hang out in here. It is all because YOU made that happen. Sometimes I lack the words to show my appropriate gratitude. But now I am ready to give something back...

It is heartwarming to see what some good people can make off a simple forum, +1!
My first post in one of these forums was about Hitman Codename 47, I tried to somehow get hold of the soundtrack. Though I was completely new, two people helped me dismembering the sound files and provided me with background information. The original problem could not be solved, but it's good to see that people try to help each other.
