For myself. (Yes, I am selfish, greedy and (most importantly) don't have/can't buy (for obvious reasons :P) Desperados.) I joined the forums few weeks ago (when M&B series were released). My first posts landed there. As I know M&B fairly well, I provided/provide a bit of support for some players. Then fronzelneekburm managed to catch me with his GA. -_-
So, of course, positive.

It is interesting how many (or some) of us found GOG and the forum to fix some sort of problem. And end up sharing knowledge and games.

I can only imagine that other digital platform/services have some kind of a "Mötley Crüe" community but i cannot know that because i don't use their services.
So for me what is happening in this community is the norm and it's very pleasent ;)

As for my experience with this community? GOG.com is an amazing place and the community is the reflection of that: kind, helpful, generous and gracious. Scammers are quickly weeded out and there is zero amount of trolling. Overall one of the best places on the internet.

When I joined the forum, it was only in the subforums to help other gamers with tech issues. I was there for months, when on a calm and boring day, I took a look into the "General discussions". Imagine my surprise, when I found out what's going on here ;-)
