Being evil feels so good. Get a chance to choose the dark side and try being as bad as you can in this great strategy.

[url=http://www.gog.com/en/gamecard/dungeon_keeper]Dungeon Keeper is the revolutionary RTS with a twist: you’re not the good guy. Each level, your ultimate goal is to defeat the local hero that comes to end your reign of the underworld. Discipline your minions, construct fiendish traps, and slaughter the witless forces of good while you enrich your coffers and prove that you are the ultimate bad guy. The dark humor of the game will keep you in stitches, but the real treat is the refreshing nature of playing as the bad guy. You’re not the one rescuing the princess, you’re the one imprisoning her! Now it’s your turn to conquer the world, and don’t let the generic hero stop you!
Im a big fan so bought it anyway - the very idea that it is here means it may get the extra levels and desktop extras everyone is talking about in the not so distant future - remember GOG are constantly adding soundtracks and things to old titles and giveing them to people who already bought the game

The fact DK is here means all the modding support will become alive again even in a small way thats a good thing as a lot of people have forgotten about the FX upgrades and stuff

So I am a happy person right now - Thankyou GOG
nice that you put this on but ive already got the original gold edition on pc cd-rom
LMAO
im such a show off
As someone who bought 70+ games on gog I must say that while this is a great release. The extras that gog.com prides itself on providing with the classics are quite lackluster in this release.
I would've expected atleast some wallpapers and a soundtrack, both came with the gold edition on the extra cd back in the day, poor show GoG.

We are still working on that so please don't abandon all hope just yet :)

Try contacting whoever made this to hear how he made WIN95 Keeper work?
Oh, Gosh! I LOVED this game, is increidbly addictive. I have the "Gold Version" somewhere, but I'm downloadig this right now.

I'll love to see it bundled with its expansion, though. The Deeper Dungeons was quite hardcore, but fun.
Excellent. I just wish there was a Dungeon Keeper 3.
DUNGEON KEEPEEEEEEEEEEER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Whew, it was good to get that out of my system.

Now that that's out of the way, I'd like to say that I'm quite disappointed in this release. This fantastic game certainly deserves better. I already have the disc release of DK Gold, so the fact that Deeper Dungeons isn't included in this feels like a letdown. Also, I was really hoping that the Windows version would be released. There is already no problem in getting the DOS version to run under any OS, but the Windows version is impossible to get running under Win7 64.
Dungeon Keeper 1 is a classic the second one not so much. If it included the expansion I would have got this, as I never got the chance to play it. Hopefully it will be added or something.
Dungeon Keeper is the only RTS game that I ever liked. Never tried Dungeon Keeper 2 but I've only heard positives over the original, so hopefully it's going to be one of the next releases. :D

DK2 was great, better graphics and new play options - would be well worth it if released on GOG.
GoG needs a $2.99 price point for expansions. No Gold Edition ='s no sale. Otherwise, good release.

Or they could just, you know, keep adding the expansions to the original release for free like they have been doing continuously for two and a half years. This was released TODAY. Give it some time, and use that time to celebrate this great release and the hard work they put into making it happen.

Cheer up, buttercups

I don't think they have been doing it continuously, but it has happened a few times. I commend them for that. But, I already have the original Gold Edition backed up. Technically, there is no point to rebuy this, except I had some trouble with D3D a while back. I can wait.
