S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series, SiN Gold, Luftrausers, and more shooty titles up to 80% off!

Pistols, machine guns, rifles, cannons, lasers... most of the time they turn out to be the best means of negotiating safe passage through a swarm of aliens, a horde of zombies, or waves of killer robots dead set on exterminating you. You're about to scratch that itch on your trigger finger. This weekend we give you 20+ games that go "pew! pew!" So take a look at some of the titles from this weekend's promo lineup , ranging from old-school FPS classics, to delirious action-arcade gems.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Call of Pripyat, the fitting conclusion to the acclaimed series, delivers one of the most immersive and enthralling experiences in the history of first-person shooters, with heavy focus on stealth and exploration. SiN Gold, a true FPS hallmark that was overlooked at launch mostly due to performance issues, is your "shoot first, ask questions later" title, lauded for exceptional level design and smooth mechanics. If you're looking for some indie, over-the-top fun you can't go wrong with Tower of Guns, a roguelike love letter to the insane shooters of the past, full of robotic fiends and evolving guns. Not a fan of the FPS genre? Make sure to check out Luftrausers, a stylish monochrome retro shoot-em up with loads of unlockable weapons and mechanical parts that change the way your aircraft handles.

There is plenty more deeply discounted sure shots in the lineup so head over to the promo page and see for yourself! The offer lasts until Tuesday, September 23, at 3:59 AM GMT!

DieRuhe: I didn't even notice the promo off to the side; when I saw this thread title I thought, "That's a funny name for a promo. Stinky Stinky?"

What cartoon is that picture from? I feel like I should know what is it for some reason but can't recall from where exactly :S

Uh, I have to ask Pogopuschel, because I don't know, I have to admit.
Own all of them but need to go ahead and play through a good chunk of them. I kind of wish the account shelf had genres.

Edit: How is Expendable? Similar to Incoming?

Depends. It's the same generation of action game and also mindless arcade fun. AFAIK it's exclusively a top-down shmup, though. I didn't play Expendable that much but it was certainly fun.

It looks like they discounted 1 game for 80% just so they could claim 'up to 80% off', is that right?
Just so you guys know, the link for Luftrausers also links to Tower of Guns.

Don't like the question? Don't nag about it.
But you've got the hate part of your name down pat at least.

Shogo is one of those games that I always go back to just to mess around. It can be a bit unfair, but overall you don't get to play many FPS mecha games. I actually can't think of any off the top of my head. I played Front Mission Evolved (bought it at a bookstore) but if memory serves that was third person.

@F4LL0UT(one of these days I'll figure out how to do multiple replies/figure out forum post numbers without using my fingers) Thanks for the advice! I'll have to try it out sometime when I need a palate cleanser.

@IwubCheeze - I really love the Alien Shooters. Good, mindless, very repetitive. Never played Crimsonland, though judging by the screenshots and the style I would say that they are fairly similar. Don't know how similar the weapons loadout is, but in Alien Shooter/Zombie Shooter you become a walking armory and can flip weapons on the fly.
I was hoping for S.T.A.L.K.E.R. series to be 80% off, but it's only 60%. Disappointed, because game is still expensive based on the date it was released. I would buy it for 5$, but 8$ is just to much.

Awesome!
Purchased Symphony.
Looks great, plays nice, although
I am having massive problems playing my music on it. Even though my physical CD collection is legit (no piracy with me, thanks), I still can not select any of them. Keeps coming up, Oops can not use (or similar words).
