It will impact for sure.
Before the previous redesign, it was easier to know which games were discounted. Since they came with the idea of boxes and labels, instead of having a flat list, I've resorted to flag games I may want in the wishlist and I just check the wishlist on each sale. If for some reason a game is not on my wishlist, unless I casually read somewhere that "x" game is actually good and I actively search for it here, I just pass, as it's a lot harder to know which games are discounted than before.
After this redesign, things are worse. I browse at 150% size on IE11, and:
* Many links just don't work. The login (which doesn't work unless I scroll down on the main page for some reason). I had to enter on FF to be able to claim the free game. It just didn't work on IE11 at all.
* Image boxes scale badly and I see just half of the image of each game.
* News are gone, which was the place were I tried to know which games released here.
* Game pages doesn't work either. I cannot watch game videos now, I cannot see reviews, and many other features just don't work. That on top of having 80% of the browser empty, because you know, that's how modern browsing seems to be.
So: If I have to trick the browser to login, I cannot know easily which games are released, I cannot read or see about them, and I cannot actually get them unless I change browser... Why spend time trying to do it at all? I will just buy which I already know it's there.
Or... Gog could just fix it. But currently, after some days, I don't know if this is actually a problem for them or not.
