I don't own the game but I played it on the PSX in the past but only Abe's Oddysee. Abe's Exoddus looks fun as well.

Please remove all those " record low " signs from the front page . Many of those games were already cheaper in elsewhere .
Very strange and bad idea. And if i don't buy games "elsewhere"? And why GOG should care about this "elsewhere"? :)

It would be nice if GOG announced when this big thing is happening, rather than just have everybody guess. Midday? Midnight? Damned if I know.

I'd be happy with a new batch of GOG Connect games, but then, I'm easily pleased.

sztihamer: Someone noticed that odd announcement. The special thing will be Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee freebie. Look at the announcement again. That part is italic and the game is not on sale. Oddworld: Soulstorm marketing tactic.

KasperHviid: I can recommend Nex Machina -- but only if you're a Galaxy user. The high score and visual upgrades are locked to your Gog account.

Huh? I thought I had been whining about this to the point where people were tired of hearing it! But it's pretty much what I wrote: if you play Nex Machina outside Galaxy, it is basically cribbled: The high score is no longer kept, you cannot access Arena Mode, meaning you cannot acquire points to buy visual upgrades for your avatar and the achievements are disabled too. Basically, there's nothing left to strive for.

And Nex Machina is not multiplayer. It is a pure single player game. But to be fair, it is designed around using the web to compare high-scores, kinda like the "public" high scores on the old arcade machines.

I think this is an actual problem with Galaxy: When devs design their game to fit Galaxy, a number of features will be locked to the client. There will still be DRM free downloads hidden away somewhere, but those will be crippled.
