TheEnigmaticT: GOG has been helping Charles out a bit with the Kickstarter campaign--thus, we're giving away codes for it and will be distributing the PC codes for Kickstarter backers--and I've gotten the chance to see a little bit of the actual game.

He's still got it. Don't worry. ;)

SirPrimalform: Is that official that backers will get the new game here then?
Seems like it.
Taken from the FAQ at the bottom of the kickstarter page (Can I get a Steam key?):
All Kickstarter backers will get GOG.com codes for 'Broken Sword: The Serpent's Curse' for the PC version - and Mac from somewhere that hasn't yet been decided . We haven't yet reached an agreement with Steam, but would expect to be able to provide Steam keys for people who want them. Sorry that we can't be more specific at this time.
EDIT.

OmegaX: That $50 tier looks tempting, specially because I wanted to buy the previous games on GOG anyway. I might do the $100 tier if the shipping isn't terribly expensive.
I'm definitely backing this the minute my next salary is deposited.
This has also been added to the FAQ it seems.
Shipping is free for the UK, EU, US, Canada, Norway, Switzerland, and Iceland.

For all other locations, please add $10 to your pledge to cover additional shipping costs.

Ah nice, that wasn't there earlier. I guess quite a few people asked them.
Cool stuff, like the art.

Can't back it due to me working a volunteer job this year with no pay, but I wish them well.

Surely you can sell off your blood ? <.<

Honestly, if they did a 2D Beneath A Steel Sky 2 I'd probably pay $1000 and I'm not kidding at all.

SirPrimalform: Mixed feelings... After Doctor Who: The 'Adventure Games' I'm not sure if Charles Cecil has still got it, or even knows what an adventure game is any more.

Next time you see him, ask him if playing as a silhouette will be an optional extra, or mandatory as in BS 4.

Thanks.

I think that when they finish BS 5 kickstarter and then the game, they might be more open to such idea.
Am I the only one who finds it odd that one of the 50$ pledge awards is a copy of Lure of the Temptress and Beneath a Steel Sky on GOG, which are already available here, for free? Not very decent on their part if you ask me. Will consider pledging, but Broken Sword 2 (the last 2D game) has left a bad taste in my mount and BS3 did little to fix that.
I thinking abour getting the 25$ pledge so I can use that and get the fourth game to own the entire series.

I admit it does sound a bit strange but I just take it that they are simply listing all the games they have made that's on GOG (are there others?) so it's simply that backing by 50$ means you can be the owner of every Revolution Software game.

Thanks! That sounds reasonable. Then I'll back $100 (+10) tier as soon as I get payed.
It looks like next Kickstarter will be for Vampyre Story 2.

I hope it means GOG will finally release the first one.

Revolution also did Gold & Glory: The Road to El Dorado, but it's not on GOG.

That was a contract game. I don't think they own any of the rights to it anymore.
I wonder about the codes for the games on GOG on the 50$ level. I might be interested in that pledge level but I already have Broken Sword 1 & 2 as well as In Cold Blood. Are the codes separates ? Would I be able to trade/gift them to someone else ?
That kickstarter video certainly looks rather nice. I might actually be tempted to shell out $50, seeing as for whatever reason I have so far avoided buying any of their games here (though I have played through BS 1-3 and BaSS before). It's also nice knowing that their new game will come to GOG directly this way. The way the FAQ is worded it almost sounds like an exclusive.

What's available on GOG actually is the complete set of Revolution's entire catalog, so you will literary get every single one of their games plus their newest.
